  1. Those are nice, I like them better than the cherry. The dark Espresso just looks more expensive, classy. The grill without the fabric looks way better than one would think, an industrial look. You might just start a trend!
  2. Those do look very nice, you better hang on to those. Is that cherry?
  3. Interesting process for sure. I like the Espresso finish also, it has a high end look to the darkness. In some situations based on a home's design and decorations, the Espresso might look better, they blend into the background more than the Merlot. I have a whole 5 channel Merlot set, but my sub is natural, it doesn't appeal to me like the other two, but beggars can't be choosers. The sub is also missing the grill 😒
  4. Sorry to hear this Mark. Guys like your Dad is why we have all the benefits of a free society. It has been a tough year for you, just remember the good times. Your Dad is playing with your dog.

    1000 still missing in Maui.
  7. Here's a thread on the same subject, currently going on....
  8. Back then it was a month long party....just 1 week now. The track never gave any statistics about how many people were at those races. Nascar came to town in 94, and counted all the seats. They had 475K permanent seats, and more than 200K people going into the infield. 700k people in 1 spot! It was as much as the whole city had....great times. It's all cleaned up now.
  9. Would that have been the "pole dancing" section of Pendleton Pike?
  10. Yep, The Vogue is still there and extremely busy, it's voted the #1 club in Indy almost every year. Broad Ripple has something for everyone.....wine bars, hard rock clubs, The Alley Cat! I partied with The Ramones about 43 years ago in the Vogue parking lot!
  11. The bar in Travis' original post is in the Broad Ripple area of Indy. I've driven by there thousands of times, but have never been there. It's close to another famous night club The Vogue.
  12. Are you looking at selling these or you keeping them? They are worth keeping them in the family, they will last a long time.
  13. Those are Klipschorns, they are worthless, give me your address and I'll come and take them off your hands😄 JK.....those are spectacular speakers. Someone will be along shortly to let you know what they are worth.
  14. That's a steal. What are you using for L and R channels? Heresy rears would rock!
  15. You're piggybacking a 3 year old thread. Yours would sell if people could look at an ad.
  16. Spikes always scared me because I like to play with the placement.
  17. Very nice. I've been thinking about buying a Strat or Tele kit and assembling a guitar. I think I would try some kind of custom paint job. Many have spectacular reviews.
  18. Last year they started using all Gibson electronics in the Epi/Gibson Customshop re-issue models. It's much cheaper than replacing them later! They all come with a terrific hardshell case.
  19. I've always liked the British amp sound. I bought this little Vox AC10 a few months ago. I pairs great with a new Epiphone LP Standard Gibson Customshop reissue 59. I can't believe the quality of these modern Epi guitars.
  20. Even hi powered AVRs will run out of steam pushing power hungry speakers. Be careful, clipping can damage your speakers.
