  1. Cool pics Jim, especially the Village People one.
  2. Have you noticed how many people are texting at stop lights? I wonder how much time is wasted waiting on these goobers?
  3. For that price, that repair wouldn't scare me. Good luck.
  4. uhhh no lol not a junk collector lmao I have a family member that buys all his power tools there , he says it has a warranty and he don't mind making 100 trips a year to exchange the crap . I hear ya….I'm proud to say I've never took a step inside that place.
  5. What??? One account explains some of his sweatband/bandana drug use like this: He would take a vial of liquid acid and drip it strategically on his bandana, then slice is forehead, and tripped balls like no other. Ever notice whenever he had his bandana on during a show, his eyes were barely open...when they were he was glancin down at his guitar or up into the sky no, he put a sheet of acid, or lined up acid tabs, and stuck it behind his bandana...-He actually took strips of bacon and put them behind his bandana, the grease from the bacon cause zits to form on his forehead, he would pop the zits… I really don't know what to say! Thanks for sharing.
  6. WOW!!!!!!! awesome for you!!!!! I was born in 62 I asked my parents if I could see Jimi they laughed at me :D :D There are a current artists that are aging....Iv'e never seen these guys but will in January "Black Sabbath with Ozzie" My point is, if you can go to a show "does'nt matter who" GO!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I had saved all the ticket stubs from all the concerts I've been to "With the exception of " Mannheim Steamroller LOL I wish I would've saved my stubs also. I had my bedroom door, front and back covered in stubs. I had a friend that owned a Karma record store and tickets were easy to get.
  7. Congrats….that's a very generous offer you're offering.
  8. Maybe you should try the William Russo "Three Pieces for Blues Band and Symphony Orchestra" by San Francisco Symphony Orchestra directed by Seiji Ozawa. May not help. I expect a wide range from my music. Midnight Oil "Beds are Burning" can pin me to the wall and make me boogie. But it can never cause the kind of total emotional catharsis such as that I experience under certain conditions from music that transcends all time and space. I recall sitting, just enjoying the space at St. Martin's Church in Houston some time back. I had noticed some folks sitting up behind the alter screen and heard them talking, but had no idea what they were doing. Without warning, the massive Schoenstein organ roared into life with Widor's "God Save Thy People" and the brass joined it. The tears poured and my body was utterly transfixed. There is now some 3500 years of music to be heard. I am making every effort to hear it all. Dave I too reach euphoria with certain knids of music. "Skin Orgasm". I love certain kinds of rock, I love certain kinds of blues music, I love a certain kinds of Female Voice "just an example "Nora Jones" I love certain kinds of Male Voice "just an example "Myles Kennedy" Euphoria If there is video of Nora Jones while singing would even be better, that girl has a spectacular voice and style, and her looks are sexy also.
  9. Good for you for saving a good speaker, I hope it works fine.
  10. 27 was a bad age for rockstars.
  11. That's funny! You have snow already? It was a joke off the net , no snow here Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I see….now that looks much nicer. I like the snow, I'm not crazy about the winter
  12. That's funny! You have snow already?
  13. Kevin had a good rock voice; but, seems like he liked writing those “ballads” a bit too much. Southern Comfort? That takes me back to high school days. That's funny….I was 16 in 1979….I think Southern Comfort was a rite of passage for a high schooler.
  14. Yes indeed….congrats…surprised they were for sale this long.
  15. I saw them 4 times in the late 70s, early 80s. They were a good live band, but somewhat repetitive, especially Cronin's ad lib. REO, my girlfriend, and 2 pints of Southern Comfort……ahhhhh the memories
  16. Yea but I'm sure the sounds coming from your basement is pretty spectacular
  17. RIP Gary….you were a fantastic guitarist.
