  1. Scooter, I sold one two years ago for $250 in next to new condition. I have seen several since go for over $275 on e-Bay.
  2. I was the guilty party. Sorry boys for spoiling the FUN! I always lose in these follow the leader games. Apologies to Amy and any others I may have offended. LEEROY
  3. jt, Send me the real pic will you . . . and her phone number!
  4. Mon. - $2.43 Tues. - $2.59 Wed. - $3.15 Thurs - ARM? Fri. - LEG? Sat. - First Born! Cedar Rapids, IA
  5. I agree with the glass tops WITHOUT! I have two Cornwalls, two Chorus and two Academys all with glass tops right on the veneer and have never had a problem with any of them!
  6. I have run Outdoor Lighting Wire (12ga) for 18 mos. with the Scott 299b and Cornwalls. The sound is great and have had no problems. I run 50ft lengths so I can move the speakers outside for parties in the summer. The wire cost was $19.00 for 100' at Menards.
  7. I might be interested in the 5 if you were to sell it
  8. The arguments . . . the laughter . . . I'm usually too dizzy to type. I enjoy all of you quietly on at least a weekly basis.
  9. Dennis, The plant is so small I'm not sure that rods should be plural.
  10. HIRED GUN - protecting your local Nuclear Power Plant.
  11. I run 35' cable so I can put it where I need it - NO PROBLEMS!
  12. Hilarious mp3 file - worth the time to open it. Enjoy BlondeStar.zip
  13. The Pronto works more than well enough for me. You can find most equipment files on Remotecentral.com and avoid having to "capture" all of the inputs yourself. I found every file there for my gear with the exception of my OTA HD rec.
  14. Are any of your first names Stan? - Sh*t, That Ain't Nothin'!
  15. I may have a few used Case Logic 40 discs holders becoming available soon. I am looking seriously at a Sony DVD player with a 400 disc capacity. I have 3 of the albums.
  16. I listen an average of 1-1.5 hrs during the week and around 3 hrs a day on the weekends. With the Cornwalls cranked up a little there is no such thing as "a little background music"! Mainly listening to Blues, Easy Listening and my Folk/Storyteller types.
  17. I had a similar situation with the same fellow. He offered the Khorns to the first person with 1k in hand o.b.o. I later got an apologetic e-mail that he had listed them on e-Pay(thru the nose). He seemed to be a re-seller with a large inventory/warehouse and did not really know what he had in the Khorns. The speaker were first found through Craigslist out of Chicago.
  18. WS65711 - I have also used the Quick Lock Flex-Pin for getting 12ga wire into older "jaws" outputs. These are the only type of crimped connector I would use due the the screw-on caps with jaws that hold the wire strands securely.
  19. I had the same Mean & Green one. I am guessing the year to be about 1966?
  20. I've gotta buddy who has three and two of them were vertical on stands and sounded quite good as rears in his setup. I have a pair of OO and might be persuaded to change one of them into walnut to match my Chorus'. Let me know if the deal falls through. My pair are very much near mint, with very minor flaws (95 of 100). LEEROY
