Klf30s do not require that much power. Go with them and the olds for your fronts and you will probably be happy

If you can coordinate shipping, I would be happy to work with them Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk

Here's a picture of the 3 crossovers. The other 2 speakers have the k55v midrange drivers with soldered connections. Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk

Sorry, just seeing this. For all 3 speakers, I would be asking $2500 obo. All 3 speakers have had the same exact treatment including recapping.

Where are you located?

I don't deny it, just wasn't exactly sure what was going on. I have never heard of those brands before, I'll look into them. I love my node 2I. Thanks Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk

I'm kinda lost on this, can you elaborate? Are you using digital coax out of the node 2i to the Denafrips DDC, then i2s (HDMI) out to another device?

Has anyone here heard Mark Levinson gear with Klipsch speakers? I know some gear just doesn't pair well with Klipsch.

@Chad The forum seems to be brutally slow this afternoon. Not sure if something is going on.

If anyone is interested in 3, here's a picture of the other 2 that will be available Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk

I was adding pictures when you posted this. I am located in Massachusetts, I did put it in the title, but I should have put it in the post too.

Ok, so I need to weed out a little of this collection. I am going to start with the solo since it will be harder to sell compared to a pair of them. I am asking $750 for the speaker. This particular speaker has a K43 woofer, K77 with square magnet tweeter, a K55V with push terminals midrange driver, and a recapped Type AA crossover. If someone if interested in buying 3 speakers, just let me know. These were hanging in a family fun center for the last 20-40 years (I really don't know how long they were there). I have thoroughly cleaned all of these speakers, including removing the mid-range drivers and cleaning the horns with soap, water, and a microfiber cloth. The dog house panels were removed, the woofer screws were tightened, the old gasket tape was removed and new closed cell gasket foam was installed, and then the panels were reinstalled. I have recapped the crossovers using Dayton Audio Precision Grade capacitors to the original specs. The old capacitors are in a labeled bag that matches the serial number of the speaker they came out of, as well as the crossover.

First, welcome to the forum. I would recommend that you create your own thread about this project. Please include several pictures of the speakers, and any labels that may be on them. Also, let us know where you are located. This sounds like a great project, and I know many people here would love to watch the project progress. Good luck

La Scala/doghouse: Was there a reason ...
dtr20 replied to Dave MacKay's topic in Technical/Restorations
I've seen this before, but never understood it. Are you putting a hole in the top of the doghouse compartment for bass to come out of the HF section? -

Help! Cornwall IV vs RF7 III for electronic music
dtr20 replied to RL1's topic in 2-Channel Home Audio
Depending on where you are located, there may be an high end audio dealer near you. They may allow you to demo a tube integrated amp at home. We tried a Luxman tube integrated on my khorns for a weekend. I stuck with my Parasound gear since it wasn't drastic enough to warrant the cost, especially since I bought my Parasound gear new only a couple of years ago. -

I need help figuring out how much my speakers are worth, please.
dtr20 replied to Tracy D.'s topic in 2-Channel Home Audio
Condition, location, etc affects the value of the speakers. Cosmetically from your one picture, they look like they are in good shape, but functionally could be a different story. A good rough estimate could be $700-1000. If you don't want to bother about getting them checked out to see if they are working properly, and you want a quick sale, throw them on Craigslist or Facebook marketplace with many pictures and ask $500. They will sell in a day. If you or anyone you know is into audio stuff, get them checked out and you can ask more for fully functioning speakers, but they will maybe take longer to sell. There is a garage sale section on this forum, many people here would want to buy them, if you don't decide to keep them for yourself.
