  1. I have the klf10, klf20, and the klf30, I love my klf20's, but they can't compare to my klf30's. I'm just having fun picking up these older speakers. They have sine really good sound
  2. Yes, always crossover your speakers and you sub at the same crossover point so you don't lose any sound. 80hz is a common crossover point
  3. So you had the original kg line 1,2,3,4, then you had the replacement kg line 1.2,2.2,3.2,4.2,5.2, then replaced again .5,1.5,2.5,3.5,4.5,5.5, and then kind of replaced by the klf line klf 10, klf 20, klf 30. What replaced this type of speaker after that? Was it the reference line? For some reason I thought the reference speakers were out the same time as the klf speakers. I don't think I have really heard any reference speakers. How do they compare to the lines listed above, more specifically kg5.2, kg5.5, and all the klf speakers? I have a pair of kg5.2, kg5.5, and klf 10 that I will be doing an A+B+C comparison on hopefully soon.
  4. I thought the same thing on the black pair
  5. The pictures make the center panel of the bass bin look flat like the belle, instead of coming to a point like the la scala, but maybe it's an illusion from the really shiny finish.
  6. Am I an idiot to ask how do you do the la bella? I saw the frame for the grill, but how about the center panel? By the way, they look friggin great.

    Ouch!!!

Has anyone contacted the seller to find out what happened?
  8. @Chad After today's maintenance, I got kicked out in tapatalk. When I try to log back in, it says you are not logged in or you do not have permission. I know tapatalk is not really encouraged (I only use it to upload/resize pics easier), but is there a setting that needs to be changed to use it? Thanks

    What I Got Today!

    A pair of Klipsch kg5.2's
  10. This sub is still for sale
  11. Some of the new pc's are locked down to only boot to windows 8 or 10. There is usually a setting in bios to turn this off.
  12. Will do, the tech has it now, but he is backed up on work. It may be a week or two before I get my detailed quote.
  13. I'm not sure what kind of glue/adhesive they used on the later heresies, but couldn't he just go with the klf method? Remove drivers and crossover, use a heat gun on the edges of the back panel, carefully pry the back panel off, clean old adhesive, then use liquid nails to glue it back together. Clean up excess in the back, from the inside, use your finger to create a corner seal with the excess inside from the side panels to the back panel. Lay it on its front with some weights on the panel and let it dry. Fyi, liquid nails takes 7 days to cure, so no music until 7 days.
  14. Someone from Washington state asked me how much to ship this sub. In case anyone is wondering, shipping from Massachusetts to Spokane, Washington state is right around $110.
  15. On the kg5.5, the feet are not threaded, they are just wedged into the hole
  16. I would personally upgrade the synergy bookshelves with a reference bookshelf pair. I cannot comment on those particular models since the only reference I have is my atmos speakers.
  17. You can always check eBay, different badges show up from time to time

  19. I have a pair in light oak that I was going to be selling in the somewhat near future. I live in Massachusetts.
  20. I got them on eBay recently. It's tough to find though.
  21. I may have the time, but not the ideas. How does one build better cables? I know you are very knowledgeable, so I trust your input.
  22. Wow, I think you need to special order the flux capacitors just for that conversion.
