What does the typical shot of wheat grass cost at a bar? Usually between 250 and 350 depending where you are at.

It doesn't taste that bad, but the feeling after 3 or 4 shots is incredible..... One shot of wheat grass is the equivalent to almost 2.5 pounds of raw vegetables so imagine getting that many nutrients in your system all at once. Its amazing!!! wish my local juice bar didn't shut down, when I would walk in I would start to salivate, after 4 shots and a large juice the feeling is incredible!!! juniper, you sold me, we have a new juice bar by my house, never been in there, what should I order, and you do it in shots ? like tequila ? I would order 2 shots and some form of green juice without any fruit, on the side as a chaser. Wheat grass can be potent so I would have one and then wait a few minutes to see how you feel. Some people cant tolerate it for a variety of reasons. I know if you have a few of them it gives you a nice buzz, probably how you would feel if you drank a half pot of strong black coffee all at once.

SC Dad sent me a pair of these packed well, strapped to a pallet. They dropped them off at the freight place and door to door was around 315.00. for over a thousand mile trip.Great people to work with!!!!

Thanks Mustang Guy, the amp was cold, I just turned it on, but I think you are on too something. A tap with a soccer ball probably isn't very good for an older amp.

FRZN, they are great amps for the price, they do bass management very well, tight clean and fast!!! They can really help clean up some bass reflex designs bass, where you hear the box and that flubby bass sound with some speakers.

Whoever gets these is a lucky man, I have a pair and they are very well built. Mine are 11 ply BB with I believe a 1.5" motorboard and they weight at least 235lbs, were tested at 130 dbs for leaks and sound very good..

So I went to turn on my Jub clones and my bass bin amp fizzled, buzzed a little and then let out a small amount of very acrid, headache producing smoke. My son accidently hit the B and C channel buttons with a soccer ball and no speakers are connected to those channels. Its a Yamaha Mx 1000 u so its not to big of a deal. Any ideas what just happened? THANKS!!!!

I don't know a lot about AVR's but about the best system I have heard used a Denon, but this is a very complicated system running 9 modified spectron amps with only 4 speakers and a sub, and a pair of dolby lake processors, wild transformers for power and lots of room treatments . Per an esteemed, member it made his Khorns sound tiny, and he was right....

That's just awesome, never knew something like that existed.

My favorite is Prokofiev, Romeo and Juliet, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, London Records. The first 14.25 minutes. Starts off very slow, then builds, then slow and builds and then eventually explodes into a full orchestra a few times, back and forth, and your house starts to rumble. All mortal systems fail this test..

I would look into TCtubes, he has tung sols for 24 a piece and elctro harmonixs for 20. I don't know if these are good tubes, but I do know he burns all his new tubes in, and then matches them on some insanely expensive equipment....

I love open wheel racing, I wish they would do a better job with the sound, and the camera angles. If you look on youtube under Speed comparison GT vs. F1 you can get an idea just how insane F1 cars truly are.. The video is 43 seconds.

May want to look into a Pilot sa-260, lots of talk on the web that it sounds as good or better than the 8b and the prices are way down right now.

A friend asked me to help him locate a pair of speakers for him, he has a large L shaped room approx. 30X14 and then it bends 24x20... I was thinking Cwalls or Cscala's . He wants to spend around 1000 to 1400 depending on the model. If any of you have any other suggestions for speakers that would also be great. Thanks!!!

If you use salt and water together they may look like this. I wish I had more pictures, they came out awesome. I just made a paste of salt and water and rubbed them a lot, it sucks the oils out of the grain and creates a wild effect. Then just used feed and wax.
