  1. Nashville, and I don’t know about shipping.
  2. That’s why the ad said car/home speakers! 😆
  3. These are owned by an acquaintance of mine. Haven’t seen them in person but they look incredible from the pics. He’s in Nashville. https://www.usaudiomart.com/details/649687560-dynaco-mono-blocks/
  4. Did you see the set in Woodstock? Might need a bit of tlc.
  5. Can you post some pictures of your listening room? I’m about to start setting up a dedicated 2ch stereo room and I want to learn more about proper sound treatment. Room is an echo chamber right now with low ceilings, drywall and hardwood floors. Well...disregard the pictures, I just found some pics of your room in a different post. Unless you have more to share.. Thanks, Mark
  6. Thanks @joessportster. Did you have any additional tubes with yours? If someone is interested I might have a little meat left on the bone depending on where you live and the shipping costs.
  7. Safety razor and shave secret. Buy a nice handle and the blades are super cheap you can buy them by the hundreds. Although I have to be honest and say I’ve had my beard for several years now and haven’t used them much.
  8. Seems to be a pretty rare bird, white label promo, so there is no gatefold. Just generic white jacket. 45rpm 1 side Stereo, 2 side mono. Clean besides a few hairlines, definitely a vg+. $20 shipped to your door hopefully before Christmas.
  9. In like new condition. Comes in original box with paperwork, remote, power cord etc..also 4 tubes total including 2 Raytheon and 1 Rca. $275 shipped to you. I also have a as new Uturn Pluto 2 phono preamp that can be combined with the sell. $350 for both shipped to your door.
  10. I wasn’t much of a fan of quartets either, but some people desire the smaller foot print. If a couple inches isn’t issue without question Forte’s are the way to go.
  11. Got it @JohnJsending pm now.
  12. A lot of great amps coming out of NC these days. Gorgeous!
  13. I’m an expert on my opinion only, but in my experience I was not happy with a solid state pre and tube amp. I have a pair of Eico and Mac mono blocks and I thought they sounded just ok with my solid state pre’s, more “accurate” or “dry” than I prefer. Once I got my mx110z I was like whoa!! that’s the sound I’m looking for. Warm and engaging. Now, I don’t listen to things at ear bleeding volumes and all my speakers are vintage so I can’t speak to the sound thru more modern speakers. My first venture into tubes were all vintage el84 integrated amps and are still some of my favorite sounding amps where big power isn’t needed. Again that’s just been my experience.
  14. Don’t get too excited..for most of us this satisfaction is only temporary. 😆! Congratulations! And good looking out @kevinmi.
  15. Congrats. I’ve got one of these that I plan to list soon. Waited because I didn’t want to step on your toes, somebody who might be looking for one can pm me. Identical with a few extra tubes.
  16. Probably better built than the mdf that came on mine. 🤨
  17. The Latino is definitely a different animal than a set. I had his 70 and his 120, I just couldn’t find the right combo with the preamps I tried. I have found that I like a “colored” or “bloom” sound and I wasn’t able to get the combination right. Preamps have a lot of influence in the final results. I'm sure you will enjoy the Jolida.
  18. They both are push pull el84 output tubes.
  19. Well...shew! The sca-35 is an integrated amplifier so preamp/amp in one unit. St-35 is a stand alone amp. Dave Gillespie is a brilliant engineer that has designed some really cool modifications for some of the older Dynacos. Efb= Enhanced Fixed Bias which means you can manually adjust the bias/voltage on your tubes. It’s easier on the tubes and makes the amp more efficient as well as improves the power and reduces the distortion. Now my limited understanding of switching the output boards is that you can reduce the gain, but these now use a 12ax7 tube opposed to a nearly obsolete 7199. Also think the sca boards were made to work with tone controls the st-35 weren’t. (Tone controls have been removed from the circuit of this sca)
  20. Any interest in a Dynaco sca-35 with Dave Gillespie efb upgrades? Also has st-35 output boards in it. Puts out a solid 17.5 watts.
  21. Freak,freak,freak,freaking,freak!! I need a bigger house!
  22. Ohhh, my head hurts🤯! Guess I’ll just stick to vinyl.
  23. Thanks for that, I’ll definitely throw some figures in and see what it spits out.
