  1. In Volume 15 No.5 of “The Dope From Hope” Paul W. Klipsch said all speakers sound best in the corner. Just because the cabinet is not angled to fit in the corner does not mean it can’t be placed in the corner. I have LaScalas for front speakers and Heresys for rears. They are all in the corners on a 45 degree toe in. I have tried many different speaker placements and found this to be the best. The wide dispersion of a horn tweeter does not require on axis listening. At 45 degrees it allows excellent imaging for everyone in the room regardless of their seating location. 2. Stuff them as far as they will go into the corner and toe them in 45 degrees. Best efficiency and imaging. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  11. I know exactly what you mean. The “amber” colored street lights have a lot to do with it. I don’t have a problem with the older “white” street lights but I’m blind as a bat under the amber ones, especially when it’s wet. The amber ones I heard has no infra red, and increased ultra violet for insect control much like a yellow porch light. Though humans don’t see UV or IR, I believe the bordering frequencies affects our vision. None of this is proven, but I know the amber lights blind me and the white ones don’t. Jeff Beck

I had this album years ago on cassette. I recently replaced it with a remastered CD. Let me tell you,if you like rock when it was real this is a must have. Sounds like the band is in the room. Jeff Beck guitar Ron Wood Bass Rod Stewart vocals Jimmy Page guitar John Paul Jones bass and Hammond Organ Keith Moon drums and tympani Nicky Hopkins piano It was recorded in two two hour sessions at Abbey Road. I cannot stress how good this piece of work sounds. Buy it, steal it or stream it, you will not be disappointed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  21. My ‘78 Heresys have the same connectors. I wrap the speaker wire around the screw counter clockwise. As you tighten the screw it tightens the wire with it. If you wrap the other way as you tighten the screw it forces the wire away from it. Never had a problem. My ‘73 Lascalas are connected the same way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  23. It’s the recording as you discovered. Klipsch loudspeakers are very revealing. If it sounds bad it is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
