After using it with my 396's, I agree. It is massive (which is one of two reasons I sold it to Tony T above). But extends low and is very clean. Good punch and extension. I didn't need any eq on the sub whatsoever.

Welcome to the forum. Glad you are happy with your heresy IIIs. Wonderful speakers IMO, especially for the price. Always nice to have powple from around the world as members. I'll be doing something very similar to you, but likely not elevating the speakers. Have fun and enjoy.
