  1. No experience with their subs, but their amps I have used in the past with great value to performance ratios. They have my respect for solid value. I thought about trying their RR2160 integrated which seems to be well respected.
  2. Had no idea Rockford ever made home consumer gear. If it is anything like the quality of their older car audio amps and woofers..... Should be awesome for the price.

    My train of thought exactly.

@Shakeydeal, you are right about two things. The first is that the Forte IIIs are awesome and I love them so far. The second is that I run a klipsch retail store out of my basement. The only problem is, as I am working 5+ 12 hour days a week in the ICU taking care of the sickest patients in CA that have their hearts and lungs bypassed as a last ditch effort for survival.... I don't have much time left to run my store.

I got both pair of these on a trade. I don't always take cash when getting rid of gear if a trade makes sense. When all is said and done, I will have two pair of Klipsch speakers left my Forte III and a pair of refinished LA Scala I that I will be buying. This is the last of what I have. Support the addiction and help a brotha out 😁
  6. EAW stuff is usually considered solid pro gear by many and it isn't cheap. Been to several live shows using all EAW and they always sound great with a proper venue and mixing engineer. That particular pair though? Not sure.
  7. Ic. I feel the heresy III and my Forte III are very smooth and non fatiguing in the high end as well but I love them. The tonal balance is right to me ears. Either way I'll check out your video review. Thanks for posting. I agree the RF7 were quite bright and harsh. I would fire them straight ahead or with very little toe in and that solved thay problem.
  8. @Youthman, didn't know you had a YouTube channel for reviewing. Maybe I'll check that out.
  9. I'm my room, the tonal balance of the RF7 II was all wrong. Highs were very very soft, mids were buried in the mix and the bass was not tight and clean but rather boomy and not quite a one noter, but close enough. I was very surprised. Imaging was quite lacking and everything came from pinpoint middle or was panned hard left or right. Yes I know they are rear ported and need space to breath from side and back walls, they had it. Just my experience in a purely two channel setup with solid state separates.
  10. These I would like to hear since I loved the original RF7 but hated the RF7 II.
  11. LA scalas on a float parade. I like that one! Whenever possible, my buddies that are new to audio and interested in hearing what my obsession is, I always jump on thay opportunity. I'm relaxed, dont worry.
  12. Congrats to buyer and seller. Terrific deal. Nice to see them stay with someone on the forum
  13. @usnret sorry to hear that. The leeches are always out for blood. You boy is alive and not injured (it seems). This is a blessing in disguise. I wish you the best with the rest of your ventures strangled off by the blood sucking insurance companies
  14. I remember working at the good guys when I was younger even when we had the Yamaha ZR series top of the line receiver at the time with a full Klipsch RF top of thd line system, THE RF7s required and shined with separate amps(parasound A21 that we had in store was an amazing combo....).
  15. +1 easily. Totally different animals with the right power. The RF7s get silly in the right way with proper power. I say FOR MUSIC separate amp is HIGHLY beneficial.
  16. Always a good thing. No more curb rash, I hope. Glad he is OK
  17. Ha I know. Im playing. CA Market for HFI is rampant but klipsch doesn't seem to be what it should be here. Klipsch NEEDS to go on a roadshow. People would buy the heritage series if they heard em. Don't bother with any other series. They will buy blindly. I'll beat a dead horse and state it again. If klipsch was to demo the heresy III, sales would increase dramatically. For those of you that haven't heard them IN YOUR OWN ROOM, please don't speak on what you think they are or aren't
  18. Haha. Come on. Really? We r going to take below the belt hits now? I heard people buy apple phones with blindfolds on and no clue as to why for $1000+ in CA. Whats your point?
  19. I've got a hookup for mogami Gold for half price brand new from an Authorized dealer if it helps anyone. Let me know PM
  20. Gotcha. Who is in California anyways? I don't see posts from anyone in CA that make it obvious as to their location. I know there a few a few, but are we the Supreme minority in that regards?
