  1. Thanks for bringing up this topic... while scrolling, I decided to click on this subject... if I may proceed (ok lol) since 15 year's ago I decided to remove my doorbell, which was wired into an intercom system with 4 talk point's around the house, which were suppose to play music once upon a time, too... I replaced the pad on the porch with a brass plate, and a sticker informing the approaching person, that "No Soliciting" was the rule... and patched all the wall's were the speakers and buttons used to be.... Carl posted a great video earlier, I'm thinking why I didn't search for a solution 15 year's ago... oh yeah... o O (u tube and dial up lol)... but all in all, I hope to see the hum dissolve in your system, and if to no avail, if it seems to persist, and you feel the need to cover the hole on your front porch, I submit the sign below as an alternative...
  2. might just be the "fail safe" after too many attempts to . o O (crack by guess) … I mean... that little keypad might be smarter than all of us... except that Makita cut off saw in the garage, that would saw through the top like a greased eel slippin' down a wet drain pipe... wouldn't suggest the side cut, because too much of a chance from sawing a bullet in half....
  3. … o O (don't cut the bolt lock things... just cut the corner off, like it's a cheesecake lol) … mr crowbar will help once you get some air on the situation
  4. . o O ( I'd use a 20volt max Dewalt saw )
  5. … o O (squeegee is ready, commence..)
  6. … o O (so we don't get to tear out any wall's and let those holograms run all over the house ???)
  7. … curtain's and replicating machine's ---> tree's and lightning under a night sky ----> which sound of thunder was best ?
  8. … o O (the word tweet was first used between 1835-1845) as imitative … o O (just glad someone didn't think the word "birdie" would suffice lol)
  9. I think that using the word "stage" in an ad, with a picture, reveal's more about which kind of stage, than one particular stage, such as one with low lighting, alcohol, and dust. I wonder how many time's someone tried to get their guitar jack in that small hole in the back....
  10. . o O (Monkey Coffins) … o O (in summary... if color choices were available, all 38 reviewers would drive purple car's)
  11. I submit a close perspective - University … or the Dos Equis EV version if you can read better than me lol
  12. … o O (when ford drop's their car line in lieu of the F150... Chevrolet should jump start the 55 Belair rebirth... if only used as a cab lol)
  13. … a pic of my 52 this summer... I have to have runningboards… but I would never do like I did 40 year's ago on ice one day, on the way to work... I got stuck on a slight incline up to a railroad track... so I left it in gear with the wheel (no posi) spinning... and stood on the runningboard and held the steering wheel, and pushed like on a skateboard and it worked lol... just jumped back in, shut the door.. and kept going. . o O (thank god for hot coffee on a cold morning in a home made wooden holder)
  14. … o O (fingers meet the keyboard after a cup of coffee) and the camaro, mustang and challenger all came back with fenders like the late 60's... so just wondering now when the really cool automobile will resurface from the auto designers for 2020...
  15. lol... I've always wondered about this picture too... can't wait to see what western electric invents next... but figured PWK was looking at the golden rule...
  16. … o O ( excellent idea !!! ) … o O ( placement ) … o O (we get to start a construction project in Chucks Den)

  18. @jwc - I was searching cornwall interior dimensions tonight and ran across an older 13 year old thread called Custom "Heritage" Center which was a good read... .. o O (that was a wild Heresy) … and then this T/S data …. like ? what are you building now...
  19. https://hometheaterreview.com/spatial-m3-turbo-s-floorstanding-speakers-reviewed/ indeed, a fine review, most interesting to read .. o O (I like the fact that no crossover is used) (Posted with Dos Equis XX as my cocktail)
  20. … o O ( bee's wax fuses ??? ) check yes or no - ✖️ but the blue duplex problem was previously solved one day... … walking down a Home Depot aisle, and discovering a very likable Orange Unit, with an isolated ground label lol...
  21. I think I just found a use for some chair's I got 20 years ago from Monterrey, that is, above and beyond the use as the cat's napping spot... … o O ( arm level ice chest positioning device)
  22. … a little project I have on my workbench this winter.... a $50 speaker cabinet which I'm going to put a new motorboard into, with ports and a new plywood backdoor, not to mention the side's and top & bottom and a new grillcloth lol, probably going to even toss the screws - which will hold one cast 15" with my new ESS AMT-1 for the top...
  23. I went to the concert in Dallas with Stevie Ray Vaughn opening for the Moody Blue's... o O (maybe early 80's) and Moody Blue's has been in my CD top rotation ever since.... one of the most fantastic guitar show's I've ever seen and heard.... previously had a thought provoking mindset (to the song's) which thereafter turned into an appreciation of 6 string orchestras... one which was ignited by Jimi in '68... and has continued to this day...
  24. … o O (..roasted Hickory... or birds eye maple ) like diamonds in the rough smoothed with that spar satin.... and routered carbon fiber aliment nut inserts... should approach the ballpark of a $3000 tweeter lens, similar to a custom shop Fender guitar neck.... or kreg wood screws and titebond wood glue... omg, don't paint your tweets blue...
