  1. Wellllll, not much you can really do going from AC to heat OR cold temps to warm in the winter. I definitely wouldn't subject my bag full of glass to those temp. swings but at times you don't have much choice if your going on an assignment. Common sense works w/the temp swings... Something quick like your shot, get ready to shoot, go out and get the shot then back in. Always nice to have a small micro-fiber lens cleaning rag w/you in it's own lil plastic case. Dedicate that wiper to your camera bag though. I NEVER use any UV filters over my lenses because of that. Lens caps, of course, UV filters nope. UV filters work for the average photog but I'm just not into optical aberrations in my photo's. So now, when you think your bad@$$ and remove your UV filters remember this: When you scratch that high $ lens??? The FIRST piece of glass you scratched is the LAST piece of glass to come out when you send it in to get it repaired and they start tearing it down on the bench... The price goes up!!! When I shoot Bigfoot I want it to be tack sharp NO optical aberrations! ! lol 😂 ANOTHER thing that drives me insane and I see it ALL the time! Your camera strap was meant to go AROUND your neck, NOT your shoulder and IF you just have to do that keep your lens pointed INSIDE to your body NOT outside. Hit it and you're screwed and IF you own a NIKON I guarantee I can bump you and have your lens in 5 seconds, push the button and twist and keep right on a walkin. I'll be walkin in that Disneyworld crowd and smilin unless you're using something big and heavy.. I'd give it a shot though if you looked like a tourist and I could walk fast! It also will slide off your shoulder when you least expect it and maybe hit the ground. Ha!
  2. Whatever works... Ya did a nice job on that sub I'm thinking... You'll finger it out! Patience is a virtue. I know a few of the other guys will help ya out so just hang for a couple days! It'll sort!
  3. "I see a red door and I want it painted black... No colors anymore I want them to turn black..." JUST a thought...Trust me it's just a THOUGHT but it MIGHT fly... Pray for someone w/more knowledge about veneer than me sees this BUT... IF the bottom of your speaker is good and the same color would it be possible to NEATLY & CAREFULLY surgically remove a strip the exact width for the lower front of the cabinet from the bottom rear? Lil skin graft??? I dunno though... Just thinkin outta the box... Could be sweet and could be a disaster if it splits. OR possibly just get a close match on the stain and stain it? OR just leave it alone and blame the previous owner? HAHAHA!! Beats a strip of purple duck tape!!! 😂 😂 😂 😎

    Wings?

You eat wings sports fans Emile and I will just buy a couple whole chickens and even contribute the wings! Wings??? Seriously? YUK! Finally found out a "real man's bar food!"
  5. Bites down hard on the cyanide capsule...
  6. Totally agree with all of that too... Today isn't yesterday anymore... Crazy market out there and trying to keep everyone happy? Ugh... HOW? lol
  7. Welcome back my friend! Since your wife is now home I think you'd better cancel that order! 😂 😂
  8. The Klipsch Heritage line of speakers is truly the best kept secret out there today and always has been. Once someone hears my old LS and Heresy, naturally they wipe the drool off their chin and want to know where they can get them and hear the NEW stuff... No problem, we'll drive from North Central Ohio to Indy to check them out... Bring cash and we're taking your pickup so you can haul them home! Gives new meaning to "Keepers of the Sound!" Not whining just wondering why? A focus on the home theatre @ Best Buy , is great but there are many young/old farts with the cash to spend who are craving more. The Forum here is a great starting point for anyone new to Klipsch to start...
  9. -40 I also know that pie r round! 😂 I'm the one riding and just nodding my head when the guy in front of me tells me that. I remember flying outta Cbus, GA to Atl on the way home from Ft Benning LONG ago. Had been talking to a CW3 rotor pilot @ the airport and there he was talking to the Cpt and another pilot when I boarded. He told them I was a nice kid and to put me in the jump seat for the flight so they flopped a lil board down and I got to ride up there. It was actually waaay cool til they started to come in for the landing. ALL I could see was the nose of the aircraft and ground EVERYwhere.... Yea, once was enough... Thought I was gonna die. Now I know why rotor pilots are rotor pilots!
  10. Perfect! I'm starting to see the big picture now... Our Family Puts Crazy on the Front Porch With a Cocktail in Hand I'll bite... Goes to Google to find out what the temp outside is in Farenheit cause I KNOW someones gonna ask... Goes to get another Cocktail... 😂 😂 😂
  11. Can I get back to you on that? 😂 😂
  12. Dtel, remember it's just ONE teaspoon of espresso... You're doomed w/this concoction...
  13. I trust in Paul Klipsch number uno, second thing is I don't know where the heck I'd put them w/LS & Heresey's. Sure more rooms in the house I could use but the majority of my time is spent right here in my L-shaped living/dining room. Then what do I do? I really can't remember who borrowed my chain saw last so I guess room mods are out of the question BUT I'm still watching... lol
  14. BOOM!!! Enjoy YOUR day! 😂 😎
  15. Kinda like McNuggets... Pieces parts fused together... 😂 😂 😎
  16. I've been thinking about this since I first saw the post... Where am I going to put them AND you guys are TOTALLY insane BUT in a kinda good way!!! My kind of crazy! 😂 😂 😂 😎
  17. Out of whack? It's a JBL... Difusers over that horn??? This is from the link I provided... A legend in its own time, the jbl 4320 studio monitor was produced through the 1970's and 80's and marketed to the recording industry through JBL professional. This speaker went on to outsell all other professional monitors combined worldwide. Essentially a very large two way, the 4320 consists of a 15" woofer with a 22 pound alnico magnet and a near full range horn crossing at 800 hz by way of the adjustable autoformer type crossover with an 16 ohm impedance.
  18. The beat goes on... ^^^^^^^^^^^^ 😎 Can't wait to see what actually transpires though... Sounds very doable...
  19. That they do... Didn't JBL have a mid something like that in a monitor system year ago? Electro-statics but not thinking so??? I've seen that before somewhere. Never heard it but remember it being funky looking like that. What's hidden below could be scary too... Maybe someone just threw something together outta spare parts. BOOM! https://www.ebay.com/itm/Pair-of-JBL-4320-studio-monitors/273257420273?hash=item3f9f6955f1:g:w0QAAOSwbLZa0os~ Eyeball the smaller pics...
  20. Ahhhhh, never had horny syndrome although... 😂 Just take 'em out slow and easy, make them all suffer a bit in bewilderment... Relax w/it all and savor... You''ll kill em that way! Develop that little playlist... Put it all in order as to you're mood... Not in their face. just enjoy watchin them squirm... My mailman stopped one day to say hey for a minute (I've known him for years)... I told him to come on in and give all this stuff he's been delivering an ear. I put him in the driver's seat on the couch and allll he could do was grin from ear to ear! He's coming back for a beer or three! lolol
  21. HAHAHAHA, seeeeeeeeeee that slippery slope will get you! Glad you're enjoying! You're friends will flip wondering wth happened to you... Ha! Just kinda make them a work in progress until you're ready for your LS! Yup, there ya go... Down the slope! Enjooooooooy!!! Cyaaaaaaaa! 😂😂😂😎
  22. SHUT THE DOOR MAN!!! Looks great!
  23. Juniors kids in general.. Ugh... Many are fine but... I loved the game as a kid. I couldn't afford to go play putt-putt like most of the kids let alone play on a golf course.A neighbor about a block away had a beautiful putting green in his back yard. I'd sneak over w/my ball and a putter and putt when they weren't home. One day I got caught by him. I was ready to run so he made me a deal. Took me in the side door of his garage and showed me his golf bag and what clubs to use around the green. I could play anytime I wanted but... In return I had to dig all of his balls out of the bushes in his back yard. To me at 11 or 12? Holy crap! So I would chip and put every day there and once in a while he came out to help me. His family owned a big nursery so he had bucks back in 1905.... lol... I came back from Nam and a couple months later one of my besties came back so I stopped and said... "Chuck, we made it and we both smiled. I've been back a while so what do you want to do. Anything you want we'll do. He said I wanna play golf. I told him I never played before and he said he hadn't played since he left and would teach me. Soooo, next morning about 5:30 I picked him up and we went to play. I walked in to the clubhouse at a nice lil public course about 8 miles outta town and totally filled my pants. Lee and his wife (the neighbor) along w/another couple had built an 18 hole course. He was laffin his butt off and said I knew someday we'd meet again... He asked if I had clubs and I said no... He walked over and took a set of PGA's off the wall, put them in the ugliest plaid bag I'd ever seen and said go play. I said how much are these and he said they're on me then gave me a dozen balls. He and his wife as well as the other couple are gone now but I'll never forget what he did for me. You don't EVEN wanna bet against me in a calcutta! lol... It's one of the most beautiful public courses for 60 miles and to this day I RIP guys for not repairing ball marks or replacing divots. It's me, I love the game, got into photography and off to Muirfield I went. Got a great shot of old "Rainbow" I'll post someday. Mr John 3:16! lol Since you hang w/the big money boys let's make some money on reprints! BOOM we're bazillionaires!
