  1. Could have easily been 24 or 31 point lead but Coach O didn't want to embarrass Dabo and his team. LSU was in total control in the 4th quarter, and the game was "in their pocket". The last LSU drive they could have easily scored again but it was pointless. Coach O is a man of real character. He has stated before he treats his players as his sons, all of them. And his players respect and love the man. There will be a parade in Baton Rouge this Saturday on the LSU campus. The governor of LA and mayor of BR will be there and extend the key to the city to the Tigers. Starts @ 1100, you should come join us
  2. Even this Denon stereo receiver has four times the output power of his PMA-60. WiFi, bluetooth, built in dac, play high res digital files with its usb input. And its $500. https://www.crutchfield.com/p_033DRA800/Denon-DRA-800H.html
  3. They didn't just get beat, they were crushed. Other than the first quarter, then LSU settled down and adapted, took the lead in the second quarter and never looked back. LSU could have added more points late in the 4th quarter but the coaching staff chose not to. Clemson scored zero points in the 4th quarter. In the end LSU owned Clemson, and the better team won. Go Tigers! Joe Brady already has money thrown at him, heading to the Carolina Panthers. More than doubling his current salary. Youngest Offensive Coordinator in the NFL.
  4. What is the point? You make a video and we watch it listening to the audio on "our" speakers, or some people via their smart phone. Its not indicative of your speakers sonic quality or abilities. It's like a guy raving about the sound of the new Cornwall IV in a review video on YouTube and he's watching on his phone, or listening to the audio on his desktop speakers or his current home theater system. Doesn't make any sense to me. I don't mean to rain on your parade, but think about it.
  5. They def like flash. Travis Bickle of TX.
  6. Benvenuto fratello mio! Possedevo una corvetta del 1972 molti anni fa. Rosso, 454, turbo 400.
  7. If you do FB, click on his link upper right corner of his post. Then you can see all of his pics. Roby is halfway around the world from us. He has what appears to be like 9.2 system and all Klipsch loudspeakers except for two subs. I cannot identify the subs, but they look substantial. And a huge projection screen!
  8. Bel sistema Roby. chiaramente sei un amante dei cani .... questo è tutto quello che devo sapere Sapevo che mi piaci quando sei entrato nel forum. solo una risposta viscerale. Forse perché sei italiano.
  9. Get this, 82F right now and 58% humidity. But the weatherman reports winter is not over for us. 29F forecast for next Monday night low.
  10. Datsa somma bigga condensers, and torroidal transformers ya got dere, Luigi Magnifico!
  11. Absolutely. I run my Cornwall III full range and no sub for music, then with the sub for blue ray movies (via HDMI). Yamaha makes it so easy to do this. The SVS sub is set with a 40hz low pass for movies. And if i want to, I can hit the "extra bass" button on the avr remote to activate sub for 2.1 music performance. That's if there is actually a < 41 hz signal from the music source. If no LF signal, sub remains quiet as a church mouse. But 99% of the time, I run 2.0 for music. The CW do such a good job @ full range musical reproduction.
  12. Serious power there. 1800 bridged mode = 1400 watts into 8 ohm load. Nice. I was unfamiliar with the Bose 1800 unit until you mentioned it above. https://assets.bose.com/content/dam/Bose_DAM/Web/pro/global/discontinued_products/amplifiers/Model_1800-VI_Amplifier/td_model1800.pdf
  13. Roby, re-read the last paragraph of my post above. I added to it after posting, going back to the old days. Way back. Like your Ferrari avatar pic too.
  14. My first hi fidelity stereo was Sansui separates back in like 1975. AU-7700 was my integrated amp. My tuner was TU-5500 maybe? The Sansui separates were amazing back then, and still sought out and prized by many even today. A couple years later I was driving a Peavey CS-800 professional amp off the Sansui AU-7700 pre amp outputs. To Peavey SP-1 loudspeakers in my LR 400 watts per channel with these little red clipping indicator lights. The Peavey amp weighed like 75 lbs alone. Fighting acoustic feedback to my Sony turntable was the biggest culprit. Used to close the plastic dust cover and put pillows on and around the turntable, on the floor. We were young and foolish, and smoking reefer madness.
  15. Not true. Both my new Yamaha and older Sony AVR receivers will allow you to run the mains in large and have a sub output. Mains full range + sub output. Then use sub amp panel low pass setting for sub cutoff frequency. Yamaha rx-v685 and a Sony STR DH 520. The Sony is seven years old. Now you can set the mains to small and set a XO point in the AVR software, but my point is you don't have to set mains to small to get a sub output signal from the receiver.
  16. Respectfully, that statement above is contradictory in itself, louder @ lower volumes. There is a free app for smartphones to enable a sound level meter right in your phone. Google it. Here is one example: https://www.noisyplanet.nidcd.nih.gov/have-you-heard/cdc-niosh-app Clearly the Anthem has power reserves that your Marantz does not possess, and this would be tapped at higher volumes. The Anthem will play significantly louder and cleaner compared to your 45 wpc Marantz. But this is not to say the Marantz amp does not possess sonic attributes or a "signature" you may prefer over the Anthem at lower listening levels. There are reasons or sonic characteristics some peeps prefer straight up class A amp vs an AB amp. And some here who desire old fashioned low powered tube amps. What is delightful for my ears may not be the same for another guy. And not all AB amps sound the same. I'd give the Anthem some time to settle in with you. I think you were expecting a grand slam and that just didn't occur for you. In the end, let your ears ultimately decide which you prefer.
  17. Give a listen to these kids. Notice their ages. They now have an album out five years later, their original music. From Mexico. The Warning=Daniela - Guitar - 14 yrs old Paulina - Drums - 12 yrs old Alejandra - Bass Guitar - 9 yrs old
  18. Down to $10k delivered now on ebay. A 2k reduction. I just know one of you guys wants to give these beauties a forever home Or perhaps his restored 1965 Buick Riviera: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1965-Buick-Riviera-GS/383123187252?hash=item5933ebe634:g:aWMAAOSwvwhdZIty
  19. It is a scam. Anybody with a clear understanding of the LS speakers would know there is no way his frankensteins can equal the sensitivity and very low distortion @ high output levels of the LS. Just isn't gonna happen with a BR cab and a direct radiating LF transducer. Or equal khorns. He is preying on the uninformed, and there are a LOT of them out there. No crime against what he's doing, its called puffing in sales. And he may just actually believe his BS.
  20. Oh sing me your little dirge this morning while I smile and gloat
  21. polizzio

    NY K-horns$1000

It is the LF bins only, HF cabs were stolen according to the poster. And its an auction. Shipping boxes look pretty bad for supposedly brand new units. use caution. But could be a great opportunity for the right guy.
  22. Well Clemson came to New Orleans on 12 January 2020 and LSU gave them and their fans a big taste of something they are not used to........LOSING. 42 - 25 Joe Burrow re-sets four National Championship records smashing Clemson. GO TIGERS.
