  1. Not really into the pro audio game myself but these were posted on CL in Shreveport. https://shreveport.craigslist.org/ele/d/shreveport-klipsch-professional/7124380830.html
  2. Yeah, that’s what makes ‘em so rare, eh? The only ebony pair in existence!!!!!!!!!! LMAO 😂😂😂😂
  3. My tech has a beautiful pair of these i’m gonna be picking up soon!! Now only if I needed 4 tube mono’s..., Somebody pick these up -the tube Mac gear with rectifiers is like nothing else I’ve heard. Warm, musical, authoritative doesn’t even begin to describe it. Incredible with klipsch. Mac gear keeps its value as well. And the price here is a bit less than i’ma be shelling out for my tech’s pair (you could probably get more for them- a big thanks and 👍 for looking out for your forum bro’s) GLWS -Rooster
  4. Check your pms/PayPal. Thx again!!
  5. “Ebony” oooooohhh!!!! 🤣🤣🤣
  6. Somebody should grab this. I love the shit outta mine and 200$ is a steal.
  7. Not sure if it’s just me but the pics aren’t showing up. Love the infinity emit stuff, btw. Just got the ‘ol lady to accept swapping out her forté II’s for some vintage infinity’s with emits so one of our forum brothers can borrow the fort’s to A/B with his Chorus’ I’s. Not many of the other speakers I have could’a convinced her, but she really loved the tone and energy of the emits. The infinity line from that era and through the 80’s/90’s leading up to the IRS beta V’s was really really high quality stuff and sounded incredible. Had a co-worker 20 years ago that had gamma’s and then got beta’s with the emit/Emim panels and the separate woofer towers and external crossovers. Drove it with some McCormack dna series amps. It was an amazing set-up. Gonna be looking for some gamma’s kappa’s or beta’s in the future myself. Good luck with the sale! -Rooster

  9. Omg! That’s infreakingsanely beautiful.
  10. Gotcha at that- like I said-been through my share o’ canes spending the majority of my life in Louisiana. 60, 80, 100mph winds destroy things quick.
  11. Yeah it was crazy, I was caravanning with my aunt and uncle and some of our extended family on my uncles side. Lucky for us we had some gas cans in the back of one of the trucks or my Camaro would have been one of those vehicles. We were also lucky enough to talk to some locals between Pasadena and Beaumont that took us down some back roads (literally dirt backroads) found a lil country store that still had fuel and was able to refuel head north and hop over to fort polk.
  12. It’s still early in the season so hopefully we won’t be seeing these get whipped up into massive hurricanes. I remember Andrew back in the day as a kid- and even with all the crazy devestation it was some of the most amazing beautiful skylines I can remember. Been through a bunch o’ ‘canes. I guess the most interesting one was right after college- I had moved to the Houston area- pearland at first then Dickenson. Was mandatorily evacuated b/c of Rita- this was right after Katrina devastated NOLA. Spent 20 hours locked In traffic on I10 until some locals showed us a back stretch of roads to take to get to open state highways that could get me to fort Polk. (They only allowed east west traffic blocked all north south flow it was a cluster****) Finally made it to my moms just southwest of Alexandria La. Well wouldn’t you know it ol Rita that B**** never hit Galveston or Houston. Nope- went straight up Lake Charles made a straight run to my moms and dropped a tree on the house. Power was out for a week (why us Cajuns gots us a bunch o genies) And I couldn’t get back home b/c of fuel shortages. No station had fuel around the area for days and the little I could get here and there on my 26 hour journey that usually took 3 hours was wasted idling and detouring and backtracking trying to find a way around the stalled out interstate. And that Camaro drank the fuel I tell ya. It was a mess I guarantee. -Rooster
  13. Aight guys, so after many many conversations with our good carpenter here he has graced me with the good fortune and opportunity to receive these beauties! I can’t begin to express how stoked and honored I am!!! He’s working out the final travel plans and everything should be set (Gulf weather permitting) in the next couple of days. That being said- After everything that’s been going on in the world and the unfortunate cancellation of the pilgrimage (was gonna be my first) I’d like to take this opportunity to invite a few fellow members over for a meet and greet and to see these babies in person and meet our Wisconson brother and show him some southern hospitality. I’ve spoken to a couple of you guys in pm’s, but any forum members that would like to drop by hit me up in a pm. Tentatively this weekend in Bossier City, LA (Shreveport). My house is open to you guys for some music, food, drinks, and fellowship. We’ll be adding further details shortly. -Rooster
  14. I have one. I love it. Great tube sound. Incredible value. I’ve seen that there are mods and such out there but all I’ve done is rolled tubes. Change out the small signal tubes and it gets much more refined. The stock 6ca7 power tubes are ok, but a little bright for my taste (at least on klipsch). I put in el-34’s and boy is it sweet (jj’s first but now some groove tubes). Changed out the stock power cord, any hi end can be an upgrade but settled on a cardas cross. Run power through a filter and the biggest thing I’ve found is to use inputs 1 & 4 and cap off 2&3 to prevent any unwanted noise crossing over. All in all one of my favorite amps and by far a great value. Really does punch way above its $$$ stock and with a couple of tweaks hangs with the high dollar stuff respectably. Two thumbs up. 👍👍

    .

Aight guys I’ve called dibs- picked up the M O today- in a rush on the way to the dentist- will be sending it out your way tomorrow- I was running late and realized I left my phone w/ your addy in the car when I finally got to the counter. Grabbed a priority mailer, but it’s been a rough day and my jaw hurts. I’ll get you the tracking tomorrow in a pm. Thanks, been wanting to try one of these for a while. -Rooster
  17. Not true at all. That’s definitely sexy! Yoowsah!!
  18. Another for the ages..., I’ve seen more live acts than i’ll ever be able to remember but these guys are still on my bucket list.
  19. Always loved this video and song
  20. And always wanted one of these.
  21. This next one is my new pride and joy (sorry guys this is a keeper). My tech completely rebuilt the 200 watt power modules on this beast. (I know it puts out 160 per channel but they are in fact a "200 watt power module" so says my tech and he can explain it better than I).
