  1. Easy stuff here. I fixed several of these in the past. You can slightly wet them and pull out with a vacuum. If they have any marks, go to a hobby store and buy some black acrylic paint, the type used to pain on canvas. It will cost you 89 cents. Just paint them and they will look like new. They can also be replaced very easily. Cut out with an Exacto knife and glue in new ones with Elmers glue. The rip in the woofer can also be fixed by gluing on the back. Use some lightweight material or cloth. Again, paint the front and they will look like new. Before anyone says anything, yes this adds a little weight, but you will not hear any difference.
  2. Forte I's, these should be very desirable in Europe because they are so rare there. Also in walnut finish which is very desirable. You should keep these in loving memory. Rub some Watco oil or similar and these will look like new.
  3. Glad to hear popup are doing well!
  4. I didn't drink any Coronoa beer during Covid just in case 🤣
  5. Wow, don't see these too often. Would never own a pair, they are huge, but an interesting find from the past. https://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/ele/d/san-diego-bw-800-matrix-diamond-speakers/7544613317.html
  6. Nice meticulous build. Beautiful speakers.
  7. Looks like a really cool addition if you have 75th anniversary speakers.
  8. This would be the Holy Grail if they had a pair, with that finish and horn, but still not worth $125K. The Seller's listing at $125K is baiting and working.
  9. MCP, nice posting! You know how to post a for sale ad properly. GLWS.
  10. Practice practice practice as stated. Use think flux core solder and hopefully you have a good soldering station and not a gun. One method it to get a little solder on the wire being attached heat it and touch to the lead on the tweeter. it should flow to the lead and cool. You might need three hands (a helper) to hold the lead still.
  11. You should be able to take a multi strand speaker wire, unwind it and use one or two of the thin wires to repair this is you are very good at soldering.
  12. I had a bad pot on a Peach, Mark replaced the pot but the fuse lit up the room. Glad I had them.
  13. This is screaming to anyone using these to add a fuse or auto bulb, especially as hard as it is to get good replacements nowadays (unless that has been solved).
  14. The thought of 'upgrading' to the latest MS software does not make me happy. I hate it and lose so much time and money in my business every time they force this on us, but the other option is no security updates, so they win.
  15. I need to mark this down in Outlook.
  16. One is dented, be careful you do not get salmonella. 😉
  17. Here, this will help, the 6 uf and 68 uf are electrolytics in the Chorus II so yes, both the Mid and Woofer.
  18. That is why I will have to replace them, security updates. One of the machines has five hard drives and a built in server. I will miss it.
  19. It should be a free upgrade to Win 11 if your computer is a certain age or newer.
  20. Can you upgrade? My Dells and one laptop are a no go. Shame, I love the laptop too, bought it in 2015 and best I have ever had. Sadly I bought a new laptop last November and turned it on once and never used it again. I should but I really like the old one.
  21. I am in the same boat but for a different reason. I have a few old Dell T series machines in my business and love them. But they are not eligible for the Windows 11 update so when they pull the plug on Win 10 I am out of luck. I think that is late 2024 so I have my window of time [ correction, October 2025]. If you have an older machine you are likely in the same boat and can jump now or wait. The timing is easy, Black Friday month (uhh, November) of 2024 is my target.
  22. I have these in a set in storage. Can you elaborate as to what needs to be done to the K55M?
