wpines
In three sets. First an acoustic set, then a trio, then the full band. I could NOT give this sucker enough raves. The trio set might just be some of the tastiest guitar work to be found on music DVD. If you have a music DVD collection, by all means add this to it. Steve_L
Thanks for the suggestion. I will usually Netflix a DVD first which I just did. Looks like a great show.

wpines
I neglected to say that I wasn't a fan either, but they say you earn repect and he sure earned mine. The 2 Hendrix pieces in the trio set were stunning.

wuzzzer
Its on my NetFlix queue in Blu-Ray format. My wife groaned when she saw John Mayer. I'm not a huge fan but the concert's had some great reviews as to audio fidelity.
Billy joe
I saw John Mayer three years ago when he opened for Tom Petty, and i did'nt know who he was. Live in Los Angeles is an awesome dvd.
RockOn4Klipsch
I don't particularly care for the type o fmusic he plays but is definitely HIS music if you know what I mean. He can truly play the guitar, which I think I questioned when he first came out. If you get a chance you ought to see him when he played with Buddy Guy, it runs on Palladia Music Channel. Good Stuff. jacksonbart
I like some of his stuff, Clapton is also a huge influence. Must be fairly bright has he dumped Jessica Simpson.

Appleskinner
Awesome DVD. Have to admit I never cared for his music on the radio, but the Continuum CD is definitely worth checking out...very well recorded and excellent guitar riffs. His earlier albums just didn't seem to have much substance.
wuzzzer
Just got it from NetFlix on Blu-Ray. Fantastic! Loved the guitar work.
RichardP
Must be fairly bright has he dumped Jessica Simpson. But on the other hand, he dumped Jennifer Aniston. [^o)]
Rick
I have this on Blu-ray. Excellent sound quality!
BogusMalone
I borrowed a copy off of netflix. I enjoyed the show. When the DVD first started with the actual concert footage I heard a noise that kind of sounded like a cell phone being to close to computer speakers right before it rings (much lower in volume though). I looked at my wife with a oh no not one of those DVD's. I've had a few in the past the would do that at random all the way through (Amy Winehouse comes to mind). Anyway the John Mayer DVD did that just the once and played and sounded great after that. He definitly has some guitar fingers. I bet he could stretch 6 frets at the top of the fingerboard.
