Jeff Matthews Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Sounds like it's not nearly as bad as I thought. Antarctica. (LOL) Quote
Thaddeus Smith Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 If you need a climate controlled environment to store your Klipsch gear and keep it from getting lazy due to lack of use, drop me a PM. I'm just north of Dallas. Quote
tigerwoodKhorns Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 It sounds good, maybe I'm in too. I think that Santa Clause already moved there and Superman is looking into relocating his ice fortress there. Quote
mustang guy Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Sounds like it's not nearly as bad as I thought. Antarctica. (LOL) Very funny, indeed! You made me go back and look to see if what I remembered was correct. There are no year-round inhabitants of Antarctica. The only people fool enough to tough this low oxygen high desert during the winter are the people manning the research stations scattered about. This is enough for me to avoid this continent: Antarctica, on average, is the coldest, driest, and windiest continent, and has the highest average elevation of all the continents. I imagine this is about as far from Texas as you can get unless you get a ride on one of those Virgin space flights. [] Quote
neo33 Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 I am thinking about moving to Minnesota but since its weather might be too warm for me during the winter (with windchill on a cold day is only about -50), I think I'll join you in Antartica. Sounds like it's not nearly as bad as I thought. Antarctica. Quote
JJkizak Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 You should try Kulusuk Island in Greenland. JJK Quote

USNRET Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 No thanks on the Antarctica. After 6 months on Adak, Alaska, 2 years in Maine and 3 years in Iceland I'll take the blazing hot and humid Texas weather. Quote
Boxx Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 All kidding aside (and most of you know that I never kid around), I contacted this fellow last year regarding a trek to Antarctica. Who knows it may happen.... http://brgeousland.createsend3.com/t/ViewEmail/y/5EB40A4C34C7558F/94E216C3C5E3C1F5D8E2A916412CAE5B Quote
