JJkizak
I don't think that price is so bad. I would ask 1000 apiece as long as they worked. JJK

minermark
Some one should jump on these critters, maybe take a box of see's candy along.
ricktate
You could probably get a C model for a bit more...I think 1700 is high since they need crossovers done ....not sure what year they are that would help. Rick
tromprof
Price seems high to me, but I don't need them. $1700 is what a pretty pair should go for.
John Warren
I sold a pair of decorator K units raw birch $1250 without any top section drivers. The units I sold were perfect, still in boxes from 1982. The ones in the photo look to have something that resembles water damage at the base. Water damage in Klipschorn units is very common. Over the long haul, most large, vintage speaker systems do a "stint" in the garage or basement and the water gets to it.
pzannucci
I got a pair of decorators for $675 and sold pristine Oak versions for 1800. 1700 is quite steep. More like $1K at the very most.
ChuckAb3
Wouldn't have any interest at that price, but speaker prices seem to be up this past year or so. Somebody will bite.
Guest " "
decorator k's are very easy to make....if you set out to make decorators....a lot of the finishing pain and suffering can be avoided.....I tung oiled the set I made and they looked fine...of course...they sound the same as furniture grade k's. these are the plans I used while I was in germany back in 1986 http://www.audiovoice-acoustics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=330 down load the german khorn pdf Edited February 26, 2014 by speakerfritz
