The absolute best thread of all time that's even better than Stew's

That's going to be one of the big hurdles to get over when I find a girlfriend...finding one that'll put up with "all those big speaker boxes everywhere."

My advice on that... purposely try to make them mad. Take a man-cation, crank up the music, leave the toilet seat up, do guy stuff unapologetically, moreso than what you would normally do. If she doesn't leave, then she's a keeper.

You post a lot, sir. Also, that hot sauce is absolutely divine.

We had burritos last night and I covered mine in the green sauce.  It really seems to go well with a lot of different foods, even non Mexican.  It's awesome on pizza as well.

it felt weird liking a post about an injury; but, it was done with good intent. i’m well aware of shoulder injuries…having been run over by a truck while walking across the street several years ago, i’m still experiencing shoulder pain.  Get well.

The sad thing about this was that I didn't even know it had happened.  I noted some minor shoulder pain a few days back...went to the chiro today.  She applied pressure and I went through the roof.  It's a bad week for such an injury too.

The dog rescue that my mom runs was doing a large scale PR-Event tomorrow.  Add that up with me trying to sweet talk my way into management by not saying "no", and working in heavy lifting due to us being down 3 staff members, it makes things difficult.

a dog yanking on a leash would be brutal on that rotator cuff.  There are moments when i literally can’t use my arm--move wrong and the pain is off the charts for about 30 seconds and then slowly eases up.  Nerve gets pinned in-between shouder and (some place else), doc sent me to a specialist and he said i needed surgery. Inflammation was so bad, cortisone shot did nothing.  About five days before surgery my asthma goes crazy--was prescribed a steroid called Predinsone and it wiped out that inflammation -- so i nixed the surgery. Been doing okay until a few weeks ago. Was twisting to hang up a guitar on the wall and tweaked it, then a few mornings later, woke up and put my arms over my head to stretch, and aggravated it further. been a painful month…so i can sympathize.

I see, the only experience I have with it so far is in my Fox Red Lab - who had to have it as an immunosupressant.

We rescue any breed.  Usually dogs in high-risk shelters or immediate-abandon situations.  Sadly that usually costs quite a bit of money, so we can never really keep up with it financially in the group (but at least the rescue's finances and our own personal are separated).

Well the rescue is a good service that you’re providing…i applaud you and your Mom.  Something to consider…if you have a website for your rescue, let us know about it…maybe the forum folks will pony up some donations.  I understand if that would be weird for you; but, just a thought.  I’m totally serious that i think it’s so cool what you’re doing for the dogs.
