JohnJ
This is one I remember tunes from at my aunt's big pool with the transistor radio playing the first song when I was like six years old...first grade! Last record was a good lead in for this one! 3

Full Range
Spinning the only LP in my collection from this British super band Probably the best release ( arguably) It’s quirky in a British way , it’s also angry at management treatment of the band and also brilliant as well Artist - Queen Title - A Night At The Opera Album ID - https://www.discogs.com/Queen-A-Night-At-The-Opera/release/3293455
JohnJ
@Full Range They always put some kind of an eccentric, vaudeville, campy or just gay sounding tune on their records. It's quirky but darn if they didn't show the talent and passion that made them one of the best rock bands ever!
billybob
Recall now the Tully Gym seeing Spirit and Nitty Gritty in concert . Thence the connection John. Well me and Paula and Gayle, my groupies. It was nice.

An unforgettable experience even after 44 years. By the way, the movie Bohemian Rhapsody from 2018 is absolutely worth seeing, shows in a fanszinating way the story of Queen, rise, excesses and disintegration of the group.

Shiva
Seeing many of the albums being displayed here, The Doors, ELP, Genesis, Queen, to name a few, more than anything, reminds me of a time, when things were simpler, and for some reason, another song pops in my head. 3

I hope you're pretty happy now . I have many Reggae records from Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, UB 40, African Head Charge, Alpha Blondy, Little Ax, Alpha & Omega, Burning Spear, Jimmy Cliff, Black Uhuru, and so on. I love the Reggae sound. We should open a separate thread for Reggae sound 1
