But then I got children and the tt moved to the attic. Then, when preparing to move to a new house, I brought the dual tt to the local recycling facility... Still regret that day.. Anyhow, there's a lot of text on the back of the cover of that James Taylor album. What is is it about? 3

When CD's came out in the early 80ies, I GAVE this to my mom. She never used it! It just sat for years. When she and my step dad passed away and the homestead was being cleaned out for sale, I ended up getting it back. Just needed a cleanup and I put a new stylus on the Ortofon and added that new red oak plinth which replaced the plastic/woodgrained walnut case. The back side of the Taylor liner are all the words to the tunes

It´s a mild sunny sunday afternoon here in germany . The Mirco Seiki sounds a little bit frozen after such a long time, think it needs two or three records to warm up, however this soul music carrys me into a good mood right now....... MicroMara
I´m flying away right now. I was wondering the whole time what has changed in my vinyl sound. First time that I listen my TT with the modified phono tube stage in combination with the marantz pm 11-s3 transistor pre- stage and the both, fully revised and with new tubes equipped, cayin mono tube amps. WOW WOW WOW ...LOL ...I have to sort out and define these new acoustic insights first. Talking about debut albums...here´s a nother one from the british jazz funk band > LEVEL 42 < with their 1980 released Album " The early tapes " . 3

Update: The song was a commercial success in the international market at the time, reaching number one in Belgium (Flanders) and Netherlands, while peaking at number two in the United Kingdom. MicroMara
This very experimental album by Laurie Anderson is like a radio play . She tells beautiful stories , full of fantasy and magic. The album is from 1983 and is called Mr. Heartbreak. A need to listen too....in a brilliant studio production with Peter Gabriel, Bill Laswell, Phoebe Snow, Nile Rogers etc. 2

MicroMara
so , is now already 11.pm sunday evening . I had once a small break for dinner and watched a little TV. Now I just play the English "NEW WAVE" band > Spandau Ballet < which had some big hits in the early 1980s. MicroMara
There was another very successful English New Wave band in the early 1980s. > ABC < They produced two fantastic avantgarde wave albums. The first was " The Look of Love ", the second is " Alphabet City ". Musically and acoustically, perfectly produced. 2

MicroMara
The commercialism of English pop music had come a long way by the early 1980s. At this time, the generation of "POPPER" and "PUNKS" was born. On the one hand the glamor and beautiful appearance of life on the other hand the rebellion against the classical social structures. Yes, that was the beginning of the 1980s in Europe. Heaven 17 , similar to ABC, was one of these modern english Avangarde Popmusic Bands , with their Album " Penthouse and Pavement " from 1981 . 2
