I wish I had my family trained like that. Instead, I get a pair of socks, or a new drilling machine on Father's Day. 2

I bought Back to Black and Nirvana there. In Belgium their price is €14.99, which is mostly, but not always, beneath online prices. They also sell a dirt cheap turntable with a pretty good needle. I think it is a rebranded Rega with USB.

MicroMara
I'm in the process of re-burning my tube monos. I have soldered new preamplifier KEMET ( + / - 2% ) capacitors, because a mono amplifier began to strongly noise. So, that I have no audible differences, I had to do this of course with both. Now there is peace again and the noise is gone.

I was also amused to hear that there’s a group of people in the UK called “suedeheads”. Similar to skinheads, but their hair is just long enough to feel like suede. Posers, if you ask me. I may be too easily amused.

Like the deadly joke in Monty Python? Constructed in sections by workers who didn’t speak the language, assembled in secrecy, and then read out to the enemy by another person who didn’t understand the language, for safety. The enemy understood the joke very well, and dropped like flies, laughing uncontrollably. A terrible weapon of mass destruction.
Full Range
I watched Monty Python on TV when I was a kid - Think I get my sense of humour from them and similar British shows Another is a SciFi classic The Hitchikers Guide To The Galaxy by Douglas Adam’s I would listen to this series on radio late at night and later the TV series
Islander
I never was able to receive HHGG, so I only know it by reputation, and from the movie, but I suspect that the series was much better. Too much to fit into a single movie. I am a big fan of Red Dwarf, though. Great stuff!

Don’t bother with the HHGG movie - It was crapolla in my opinion Best is still the Radio series as you can use your imagination Loved Red Dwarf - seen it original and re runs about 20 times
