Full Range
A quick update on the Revox B795 turntable repair Thanks to @MicroMara for helping me in sourcing and posting the required part from Germany 🤘 Respect man And to update @OO1 to answer his questions After breakfast on a Saturday morning it took me about 4 minutes to remove the old board and fit the replacement board Then set the TT up in an ad hoc way on top of its own packing box just to test the speed The test results are Replacing the board has worked and speed is now correct for 33.3 & 45 RPM Still need to check the earth loop because the cable would not reach from the temporary position I will set the Revox up better at a later time and connect it to the Sansui AU717 amp phono and earth and give it another test run Here is why I wanted to preserve the Revox It’s still in its original box and all individual components are present Unboxing and test photo sequence below 3

Dave1291
Atta boy George! The big dawg is a grinnin now for sure! Always a great feeling when you can help someone out. We need more people in the world working together instead of some of the things going on today. Would be a much happier place imo. 3

Maybe I´ll install spots over the TTs. The plan is: Shelving will continue on top of what Yu see now. There will be one more space for LPs. Further up will be for books and my DVDs & BluRays. What you see here is about 2/3 of my LP collection, so there´ll be space left, not that much, but there´ll be some.

From memory they were in production from about 1995 But stand to be corrected Had a look at some reviews of the 4.5 floor stander because I haven’t heard any myself, and all are positive
AndreG.
But, as with everything, there is a pinch of salt here... But first: - Ofcourse the cabinets are rough and need love. That was expected. - One of the grilles has cloth- damage on one corner: I´ll think what to do about that at the end, it´s not that noticable anyway. The following is the biggest "problem". The woofers survived transport intact, BUT: Original K1005 K woofer. Up to now, unknown replacement woofer... If you put your ear close the woofers, there is a noricable difference in dynamics between the two. It doesn´t impair listening, but knowing it, I want back the original state. But first things first. They will be added to my "Phallanx" and listened to extensively! 2 1
AndreG.
Oh, and then, one has all original feet, the other a mixture of one half of a original and three spikes. 1

Nor am I sure the seller knew. He got them from his brother, he said. Seeing them, I get the impression these were someones "Party Speakers". As I said, I notice only, when I´m close to the cabinet. The replacement sounds brighter. When You sit farer away, you don´t notice, I think... Right now, it bothers me astheticly most... Looked at Crites, but looks like they don´t sell woofers right now. Will look at ebay from time to time, maybe a spare pops up. Price was fine, paid 390€. This will sound much to You, but here in Germany, vintage Klisch are rare and expensive... There was a pair of KG 3.5 on for the same price though. 2
