If anyone can help identify these I'd appreciate the insight.

measurenents are:

The speakers are 27" high, 24"wide and 16" deep. they have a table top and so whether original or not I couldn't tell, so if anyone can help that would be great.

You guys aren’t going to believe this…

I have a pair of Realistic Nova 9s in my basement that I was just about to donate to a co-worker for a vintage system.

I am in the process of sending him the archive photo from the ‘73 (!) catalogue and lo and behold.

…someone stuck a Klipsch logo on it for clout, lol

First look I knew someone pulled something.  Why would PWK install that lattice on the front?  He'd call BS because it wasn't acoustically transparent in a heartbeat.  lol  KISS method allll the way w/him me thinks.    Facts, just the facts.

This seems to be the case, the photo from that old advert is pretty definitive. They look quite nice to my old eyes, the next step would be to see how they sound. They could be amazing.

They weren't cheap that's for sure, I suspect a fairly high quality box. Chances are with the Klipsch drivers transplanted they sound pretty sweet. I like the look of them, as mentioned before they have sort of an Altec vibe to my eyes. I hope the OP gives us his impression once he hooks them up and gives them a go.

Seriously, a 198.50$ for one speaker in 1973?

Now that has to of had some great quality to it for that price back then.

Today conversation would be over 1300$ each

Curious to see how they still sound

My three way direct radiator JBLs from '72 were $280 or so each. JBL L100 Century speakers were $273 ea. in 1972. RS had some good stuff of their own.
