Woofers and Tweeters
These were 3 states away from me and a mess, as you can see. Being that they were in StLouis and I was in central KY, I called @MookieStl to see if he could grab them for me (Thanks again Mook). He said that they were what the pictures show, but I wanted them anyway (I was hoping for the best). I'll spare you the details of what it took to get them back to being bearable. They are not perfect and still have a couple of small chipped places. I swapped out a few parts, such as the K55 on the K700 and installed the K53H on the K701 horns. I still need to get the grills mounted too.

Merckx
Really impressive work. Congratulations. Besides sanding what did you use to restore the finish? In one of your photos in the left corner, are those La Scala's? Also, what McIntosh amplifier are you using? It looks smaller then a 240. The only way, that I know of, to remove light scratches is to do some light sanding. The water stains on these cabinets did not go deep, so the light sanding removed them too. I have used Bar Keepers Friend mixed to a paste to acid bleach water stains from veneer before. Google that for more info. 2 hours ago, Merckx said: In one of your photos in the left corner, are those La Scala's? Also, what McIntosh amplifier are you using? It looks smaller then a 240. LaScala bass bin with Dave Harris Epitrac 400 mid and Dave Ault's L-MAHL tweeter and using MC30s for power.
