I haven't had any trouble here in "Wine Country," although I am considering a battery-powered SET amp hooked up to a K-77M as a back-up. I don't think mine is too rough and I have a machete and knife next to my bed. an intruder or murderer can strike anywhere, not just the rough hoods.
