IAmtnbikr
Congrats! Our oldest two are in college... the elder of them we believe to be on the 6-year BA degree program, lol. His sister who is 2 yrs younger has more credit hours than he does... go figure. But, we are still proud of both of them and love them dearly.... even as we pull out our hair.... all the while looking at our 6 1/2 yr old ball of fire still here at home![]
DizRotus
Congratulations!<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> From the replies, it's obvious that most of us care. However, its not mandatory that anyone care. Hopefully, those who couldnt be bothered to care wouldnt be bothered to publicly share their indifference as a badge of honor. Fortunately, it's easy enough to ignore the boorish behavior of the few to enjoy the camaraderie of the many. Isnt it amusing that whenever its suggested by the more reasonable among us that some (without naming names) could be less thin skinned and less quick to hurl insults, the usual suspects immediately take umbrage, deny being thin skinned and commence with the insults and personal attacks? Its always about them. You have to break eggs to make an omelet and you have to endure boorish behavior to enjoy the benefits of this fantastic open forum. Good luck to your daughter in the pursuit of her noble profession. In life, just as on this forum, shell meet all kinds of people. To paraphrase A. Lincoln, some will be good all of the time, most will be good most of the time, some will be good some of the time and a very few will be bad all of the time; avoid the latter whenever possible. jt1stcav
Obviously, kbear is a troll just looking to start something, and a person who's posts should be ignored!

Moderators dtel's wife Posted December 20, 2005 Author Moderators Share Posted December 20, 2005 Our daughter sat down and read the posts, needless to say she got "teary eyed". She is in the process of reviewing for her state board exam, but will sit down and post something herself in the next few days. In the meantime, she asks that we relay her gratitude and appreciation to all of you.
Cal Blacksmith
I'm sorry to be late to the party, CONGRATS on the graduation! That is really a mile stone in life and one that you should be proud of! Hard work and dedication are needed to reach that goal and will serve you well in the rest of your life, CONGRATS again! Timmikid
Congrats ideed!!! I can testify that most on this forum really care in words and actions. Kbear may not realise that Jamie's dedication may someday save his, or his loved one's life. In any case, even when the subject is audio, why would we help each other out if we just don't care? This is not only pure science on the www, we try to be people who want to take the extra step, right? Even if we sometimes annoy eachother. A dedicated professional caring nurse should be our example!
st. patrick
Hey dtel family; Congrats to you all! Education is always a worthy pursuit, and ignorance should simply be ignored. . . . . . . . ah, but I can't resist . . . . . . Hey kbear, having just read some of your posts, it seems you might benefit from some education; in particular, classes in spelling, punctuation, and common usage of the language appear to have been absent from your formal education. You might also want to read some of the writings of Emily Post.
