Cal Blacksmith
I guess I forgot to post here on time but Monday the 21st of August was our 25th wedding anniversary. With the Mrs. having a broken arm and one heck of a cold, we only wished each other happy anniversary and I gave her a dozen roses. When the circumstances are better, we will go out for dinner or something. My best buddy and his wife gave me a week in his time share for my birthday (well they knew about the anniversary also so that was taken into account) and we will go somewhere to get away. His timeshare is in Palm Springs but can be traded to go just about anywhere, so we need to decide where is best.

Cal Blacksmith
Thanks everyone, I am indeed fortunate. I found the rightone after a little searching and sewing of oats and havent looked back since.I am the lucky one though as she puts up with all of my faults with nary acomplaint. In fact, I think we have had less than a dozen serious disagreementsin the total time we have been together. The more we are together, the betterthings are. We both have our problems, hers are medical and mine are mental(example this hobby) but we support each others goals and dreams. Again, thelonger we have been together, the more those goals and dreams are the same. Oh, BTW, She broke her arm on the 3rd of July, while were on a working vacation to YosemiteNational Park.I volunteer to blacksmith in the heritage village for 6 hours a day 5 out of 7days in one week and the park service gives us a cabin in the park! We had onlyjust arrived in the park; un loaded our stuff at the cabin and had filled outthe volunteer forms at the ranger station. We were unloading the equipment intothe blacksmiths shop when we were approached by a park guest. She couldnt findthe bathrooms so after offering directions to them and the guest still beinglost, Cyndy offered to walk the guest to the restroom. On the way, whilecrossing the covered wooden bridge at Wawona, she tripped over a warped floorboard and fell. She broke her right arm, just below the shoulder, blackened hereye, scraped up her face, banged up her knees and generally had a bad time ofit. A man came up to me in the blacksmiths shop (he was evidently from theguests party) and told me that my wife had tripped and had a bloody nose andthat I should go to her. Having a bad feeling about things, I locked up theshop and drove around the long way to get to her (this had taken about as longas it would have to walk the short way). When I got there, she was standing byherself holding her arm and in very obvious pain. The guest was long gone andjust helped her to stand up before they split, so much for the kindness ofhumanity. We spent the rest of the night in the urgent care hospital and thenext day, (the 4th of July) Cyndy couldnt partake of any of the festivities;she just stayed in the cabin, loaded up on pain killers. We spent the rest ofthe week up there though (her choice) and have been arguing with Federal workmanscomp to get the medical appointments taken care of. It has been 7 weeks now andwe have only seen the orthopedic doctor one time. Her next doctor appointmentis on Tuesday, 8 weeks from the accident.
