auradud3
hello fellow klipschers, i am new again, i used to post here for years, but have been working many, and bad hours at night so i have lost my old profile, i used to be "marksdad" when i was marksdad i had between 2700 and 3000 posts. i have an heritage 5 channel system that i have used for many years now, developments in my ever changing life have prompted me to rethink my system, my son has grown, so i now have need of smaller living quarters, but my klipshorns do not permit this. below is a copy of my craigs list ad. I am offering for sale my klipsch heritage ht/2 channel systemspeakers. these are an audiophiles wet dream. the speakers are 2klipshorns, also known as cornerhorns, these are the front channel or 2channel speakers, 1 lascalla used as my center channel speaker, and 2heresy 2's, used as side surrounds. it would take me quite a long timeto relate all pertinent information regarding the properties and renownthese speakers have developed over the years, they have been called bysome audiophile reviewers as the worlds best loudspeakers. they ahighly detailed loudspeaker, with 104 db sensitivity, highest in theindustry. so this translates that whatever source you put in isdisplayed magnificently. klipsch prides itself on its no colorationpresentation in the heritage series, again this means that sound isreproduced faithfully, in my time with these speakers i am alwayssurprised at their performance. you will find yourself answering doors,or going to pick up the phone, when it is really just part of themovie. included with the speakers i would include i 15' monster series3 (thick as a garden hose) cable that i use as center channel cable, 220'monster cable same series.i am unable to post their photos, craigsrejects them because the files are so large, but if you are interestedthan you can get all specs, and photos of the entire "HERITAGE" line iam selling, plus do yourself a favor, google keyword "klipschheritage", or the specific model, add "reviews" and you will beplesantly surprised at what you will find. one thing i did not mention,i am selling because the cornerhorns gained their name, because theylike to live in corners, the folded bass bins open on the side topropagate bass down the length of your walls. this in itself earnedklipsch a few patents. i might add, between the 3-15 inch bass woofersin front, and the 2-12 inch bass woofers on the sides, there is no realneed for a sub woofer, if you take a good look at the specks onklipsch's site you will see that the klipshorns go deeper than manycommercially available subwoofers. but i am going to move, and thecornerhorns deserve a larger room to breath. thank you for reading thislong post, feel free to ask questions. i might also add as a finalnote, it is rare to find anyone! anywhere! selling their cornerhorns.forgot 1 item wilL include an DENON DVD 2900. I HAVE 2 HIGH END DVDPLAYERS, THIS DENON CAN ALSO BE SEEN ON LINE, AND IT IT IMMACULATE. i am in denver colorado, and i do need to sell, many of you are familiar with my system, i bought the cornerhorns from jim cornell, we all know jim, and many of you remember me. so if there are any of you in my neck of the woods, and need to either upgrade, or add, now is your chance, thank you. oh yeah, i go by audadud3 now, basically because my son says he is to old, and i need to re-do my nik, so i just bought an saturn aura, hence the new name. hope to hear from you, if you like i can be reached at 303-317-6484 ( marksainz@comcast.net ) SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD
fini
Hey Mark, how's it going? As I recall, you are an electrician, right? I hope things are going well for you. You're right about the Khorns needing breathing room. I'm kind of pushing it with mine in a 16 X 20 room. Best of luck with the sale. Photos and prices will fetch more interest. Oh, and I'd bet Amy could give you back your post count if you ask her real nice...
auradud3
thanks fini, nice to be back, did almost 3 years at night remodeling a college campus book store- complex, the tivoli here in denver, sucked, bad. like being on a different planet. and yes amy if you could, i would really like to regain my old status if you could? i am now into the hd scene, have samsungs latests 1080 full p hdtv's and thier bd-p 1200, at first the player was a bit of a dog, but thier first firmware download fixed all the problems, wow 1080 p is sooooooooooo cool my display is the LNT- 4066F, , but the down side is that i need to move, my son has grown up now, and for the time being our townhome is too small, and everything we look at does not have the required corners, so i am sort of disabled in the moving arena until i can re-do my system, other than that, just fine, thanks for the welcome again fini, kinda cool to be remembered. Cal Blacksmith
Welcome back to the Madness! Much has changed since you left, for instance, look at the shiny new logo under my name! [] That logo is only there because you bought enough speakers to become a major holder in the company[]

colterphoto1
Yeah, Colter owns 51% of all the Klipsch product ever produced. I've never counted it by sku number, but probably very slim percentage- I tend to get them in bunches, 11 CW's, 18 Heresy/pro, like that....it's a sickness. I wonder how many different models I own, hmmmmm
BigStewMan
Colter--how long have you been collecting Klipsch speakers, and do you have a favorite? If you could only keep one pair, which would it be?
Islander
I suspect it might be the pair he's standing beside in his avatar...

colterphoto1
3 1/2 years ago, when I moved back to Indy, I had a pair of Cornwalls for my mains, a KSW12, and a couple pairs of KSB1's in my gallery. That's it. Cornwalls in a heartbeat. Or forte II, maybe my LSBR's. Ok, no the Cornwalls. Yeah that's it.
colterphoto1
yes but will he sell any of them at a "friends discount" nooooo Trust me he gets these ebay and others at a HUGE discount... makes me sick! OK I am jealous I do my fair share of time shopping, many deals have been Forum members. On average I'd bet I'm just slightly below average pricing for used, but I tend to land some exceptional condition speakers from time to time. Most are dead stock, I kinda like em the way Klipsch built em. I have NEVER blown up a Klipsch driver in my entire life!
Jim Cornell
Mark I had a lot of detail and a lot of crafsmanship in those K-horns, I sure hated to see them go. What do you have left Heresys? I do remember all the fun it was at the time, those were trully a 1 of a kind. Regards Jim
