Crossovers

How many people here are using crossover networks ( in a Klipsch speaker) other than Klipsch.

I have heard many due and I am curious.

I am. I kept my heresys stock.....but my other models all use various types of ALK networks.

My main Klipschorn's and rear effects Cornwalls are stock networks with upgraded parts, my La Scala center and rear Klipschorn's are a combination of John Albright and DeanG/ALK designs.

Yup, using a John Albright design (first order) for my LaScalas. Love the contant impedance for using with my 2A3s. They seem to work well together.

In my passives (in my three LaScalas) I've got Al K's ES networks.

I use the original schematic that my Belles were issued with, but all new builds using premium parts: Type AA networks with V-Cap capacitors.

Everyone, Thanks for your replies. My reason for asking was I upgraded my Belles with Beyma tweeters and Trachorns and the difference was like having new speakers. Everything people talk about... wider soundstage, more open, the music came alive. Then I added some Extreme slope networks and the beautifuls went away... they sounded like they did before the mod.I made many phone calls and emails with lots of help but even after everything I could not get the "sound" back without going back to the original networks.

I had a pair of RF-7's to use as a comparison, reference to make sure it was not just my ears or equipment.
