PYRO
I will get some different photos. These are the ones I took for painting. I like the colors. I am scheduled to go to indy but it may be too late. I am thinking about ordering sooner. I am sure the Lasacalas will do the trick. As for the sub if the RSW-15 isn't the right one then what sub is recommended to keep up with the lasaclas? I am going over to the model home today to get more pictures. Would the 60th Anniversery Khorn be better for my situation? Rob
steve hollowell
If you are looking to use LS II in a HT.....you might want to check out my pictures, they are listed under my profile.... Re: Trey....new pics are up...Klipsch all the way around..... The only change in my situation is a HK receiver, and I now have my Heresy III's placed on the floor. I know this is not the best way for rear surrounds but the bass is better and the risers help point the sound towards ear level...... This system sounds great in 2 channel with the sub adding depth, it also does the trick in 5 channel stereo especially since the H III's are now broken in with plenty of playing time.......The center speaker works very well but I would eventually like to get another LS II for the center.... it also kicks in surroun, my son and I have probably 50 BRays Good luck with your system choices... PYRO
Here are some new pictures of the model home. Sorry but I took them with a wide angle lens and cropping them takes away from the corners. 1st Choice is on this wall. http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg242/BF2SCRAPPY/Model-Home-001.jpg Nook http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg242/BF2SCRAPPY/Model-Home-002.jpg Other wall http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg242/BF2SCRAPPY/Model-Home-004.jpg Using the long wall (Not shown) would be great for Khorns but then once I put my TV up on the wall and put my couch in front of it. I would be sitting within 5 feet of the TV. Kinda close and the room won't flow right. Thanks
Islander
I am sure the Lasacalas will do the trick. As for the sub if the RSW-15 isn't the right one then what sub is recommended to keep up with the lasaclas? If you already have the sub, try it with the La Scalas and judge for yourself how good they sound together. The room is always a factor, so it would be hard for anyone to guarantee that their suggestion would be the best for your system, your room and your ears. PYRO
True but what I was trying to avoid with my 2ch listening is having a lower end with or without a sub that sounds muddy. I like the "tight bass." Glad this is an audio forum. lol! Didn't like the cornwall low end but loved the khorn.
Guest " "
""Right now I'm more nuts about the K402 that I am about the Jub bass bin....which is just the opposite of what I said 1 year ago. LarryC
1st Choice is on this wallThe La Scala IIs are 38.5" high, 24.25" wide and 25.25" deep -- hope that doesn't complicate anything.

steve hollowell
Sorry about the screwup on my above post alittle bit of knowledge and a ruaway mouse can cause more trouble than the pictures are worth!!!!!! Steve
Deang
Hey Rob, are you married? IOW's, do you have WAF to consider? The home looks really nice and if you're going to furnish it with quality stuff similar to what's in the model, you might want to shy away from the Jubilee -- a utilitarian look is going to look way out of place. You also listen to the same kind of music I do, and that could lead you into the trouble too with the Jubilee, which is brutal sounding with highly compressed redbook recordings. I strongly suggest you stay with your initial choice -- the LaScala II. Definitely keep 60th Anniversary Klipschorns in the mix if you can work a pair into the room. PYRO
DeanG - I am happily divorced. The LSII's are my choice. Based on the photos of the model with the wood flooring help me decide on the color. Walnut or Cherry? I am leaning towards cherry...... Deang
I'm also partial to Cherry, and Klipsch does a killer job with it.
PYRO
I ordered a pair of Cherry LaScala's this weekend. Here is a response from Amy, I think it is pretty cool. "Hey Rob, I noticed you ordered some LaScala IIs over the weekendhow exciting, youre our first Heritage Direct customer!!! Thanks so much, Amy"
Mike Lindsey
Congrats Rob... Maybe I'll get a chance to hear the LS II's one day, but right now my heart is set on the Jubs. I'll have to wait until I've heard Travis's to make a decision myself. Mike
jamesV
Rob, that is really great to hear that you are the first person to order direct. [H] James

"Hey Rob, I noticed you ordered some LaScala IIs over the weekend—how exciting, you’re our first Heritage Direct customer!!! Thanks so much, Amy" Man this is great. cjgeraci
Congrats, Rob. They will sound great. I look forward to hearing a pair. Carl. P.S. I've had similar thoughts about Corns' bass........
Coytee
you’re our first Heritage Direct customer!!! Maybe they'll give you serial numbers 1-A and 2-A? Then JC can have the first pair made and you can have the first pair sold direct? [Y] Don't forget to give a report back on their arrival and how they sound. I bought a pair back in 1979 and though I love them, the LSII's are noticably better in the bass department.
steve hollowell
congrats.....the LS II sounds better the longer you play them....if you go for surround sound, three cherry H III's would be a knockout!
