dachuckster Posted February 22, 2008 Share Posted February 22, 2008 I just received my updated crossovers from Dean G. I installed them, fired up my system and sat back and SMILED! I listened to a few CDs and watched Pirates of the Caribbean Blak Pearl on Blu Ray. I was very, very happy. The music is clearer, louder, with seemingly stronger bass, and sounds more detailed. If you ever wondered how could a great speaker (the RF7) sound better, this is how. If anyone is considering this upgrade, I give Dean "2 thumbs up"! dachuckster Posted February 26, 2008 Author Share Posted February 26, 2008 Another thing, My sub went out on me couple weeks ago, so right now I am running the RF7s to handle all frequencies. Even without the sub, these babies are poun-ding out the bass. Granted, I am giving them a lot of power from my Outlaw 200 wpc amp, but man do I love these speakers! Deang Posted February 26, 2008 Share Posted February 26, 2008 The bit with the bass is mostly perception I think -- I tilt the top down just a wee bit so it brings the bottom out more.
