Is that e^(2*PI) or e^(i*PI)? I can't quite make it out in the picture. If it's e^(i*PI) then it equals -1, and the check is made out for two-tenths of one cent.

Greg

We ( the math guy in Engineering solved it while we watched) worked it out and found the same outcome.

Did you hear the one about the constipated mathematician?

Around 5th grade c 1973. ( [:$] Now if I could just recall the important things I forget as my head is full of all kinds of useless crapola like when I first heard rplace's joke, I'd be, well at least a bit less stupid. Maybe even would've been able to figure out the amount on the check, but that'd be doubtful without some serious review or at least remember where I put that Swiss bank account number I opened a couple of years back ....)
