Burnin' is an album by the blues musician John Lee Hooker, recorded in Chicago on October 26, 1961 and released on the Vee-Jay label the following year.[1] Hooker is backed by the Funk Brothers. The album includes the nationally charting single "Boom Boom". L.A. Midnight is the twentieth studio electric blues album by B.B. King released in 1972. It features two extended guitar jams with fellow guitarists Jesse Ed Davis and Joe Walsh ("Midnight" and "Lucille's Granny"). It also features Taj Mahal on harmonica and guitar. ("Can't You Hear Me Talking to You" and "I've Been Blue Too Long" respectively). "Can't You Hear Me Talking To You" also features Davis on guitar. I got "Hooked." The Real Folk Blues is an album by blues musician John Lee Hooker that was recorded in Chicago in 1966 and released by the Chess label. Additional tracks from the sessions were released as More Real Folk Blues: The Missing Album in 1991. More Real Folk Blues is an album compiling singles recorded by blues musician Muddy Waters between 1948 and 1953 that was released by the Chess label in 1967.[1][2][3] More Real Folk Blues is an album compiling singles recorded by blues musician Muddy Waters between 1948 and 1953 that was released by the Chess label in 1967. See what I did there?

  12. Good evening friends, thanks for your likes and comments on the Mini Moog Voyager! I wanted to spin the Miles LP I had lined up, but it got late. I will do that soon, and K104 inspired me to spin the original ELP LP he played today, which I bought back when I was a senior in high school. And I do have a Greg Lake SOLO LP in the cue too. See you all soon. Cheers

  13. You should listen with tube amplification. I tried NAD, Hafler, Marantz, and Mcintosh. Good results but ear splitting at higher volumes. My current setup is a Bottlehead tube preamplifier and Quicksilver tube Horn Mono amplifiers. And a room to absorb the sound. Carpet, fabric couch, etc.

  15. Thank you for the compliment BTW. New house and unfortunately being out of work for multiple surgeries didn't help the bankroll. So until I can step it up, this will do. Back to work so the money train is rolling again.

He had white horses And ladies by the score All dressed in satin And waiting by the door Ooh, what a lucky man he was Ooh, what a lucky man he was White lace and feathers They made up his bed A gold covered mattress On which he was laid Ooh, what a lucky man he was Ooh, what a lucky man he was He went to fight wars For his country and his king Of his honor and his glory The people would sing Ooh, what a lucky man he was Ooh, what a lucky man he was A bullet had found him His blood ran as he cried No money could save him So he laid down and he died Ooh, what a lucky man he was Ooh, what a lucky man he was

  34. It's not like Klipsch is still making the MTM. Some have bought the MCM1900 that didn't come with the MTM, so it should be a non-issue to point them in a direction that makes them happy, builds trust, and they might stay. It's not a matter of promoting other party's offerings: It's just conversations without acting like options don't exist. The game that gets played upsets people and they, rightfully so, feel tricked, rather than feeling they were treated like adults. The game is causing a Streisand effect and is driving people to the competition. The huge departure of valued members should be an indication that the new rules have killed the forum. The low turnout for Mr. Klipsch's birthday bash is proof that it is hurting all the way around. One or two say that they are done, but they come right back. Some say they are leaving and that's what they do. Most left without saying so and the exodus since 2020 should have been avoided. The new Heritage sounds a lot better than earlier offerings. Some existing owners will buy new, while most can't afford 10, 20, or $30,000 speakers, so a small number will try to improve the sound of what they own. Since the Heritage line is less than 5% of new Klipsch sales and none of the new ones need to be refreshed or upgraded it should have never been any worry. I am sure GM would not cut relations with someone who wants to install Brembo brake pads on their Vette, rather than AC Delco. It would be a disaster for GM to condemn them. Caps and diaphragms have to be a microscopic fraction of a percent of sales and are not worth what they have cost. It's like wasting dollars to save pennies. Just my 2 cents.

  36. You're right about those trips to kr - ogres. Was hungry without anything good to eat here after a month of barely going out except to the doctor. It's the closest grocer at 4 miles. Other is another 6 away. Dropped a hundred pretty quickly, will get a meal for three days out of it. Also 1 a day toaster buttermilk waffles for a month 2$ < eggos. Gut's still hurtin' though, & @Invidiosulus , yuk! I've got a new battle wif an itty bitty birdy. It wants to put nests on top of one of my front door lights that I replaced the first week I was here to go all led. He uses moss, mud and his dodo. I've just sprayed it with simple green again and cleaned all that off. Thing is it's the tenth time in the last few days! Tried tin-foil with the shiny side out too. If I was twelve he'd be dead from my bb-gun already. Thinking of breaking out that chlorine I made bleach with the last few years. Put that in the pressure sprayer with the SG and maybe it will go!

  39. I do appreciate you for that. You have a service for replacing caps and building networks. I mentioned your name too, but that didn't cause any problem. The last I read, you posted that you want to be removed as an official Klipsch cap replacer. Is that still the case or are you back with Klipsch?

  44. At least 40 hours of Dub-step with the bass knob at full boost; doesn't have to be loud. Just shut the door and go have dinner and a movie. Then, I'd look for "Unforgettable" by Natalie Cole and "The Book of Secrets" by Loreena McKennitt and listen for all the cool nuances.
