  1. The shape of the horns is different than a typical KLF 20 or 30.

  3. Those Panasonics are nice and they definitely come with a remote.
  4. Did you already check Amazon. some hand cranks at decent prices, I think. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_sc_2_12/192-4138516-2106166?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=wheatgrass+juicer&sprefix=wheat+grass+%2Caps%2C204
  5. Finish this statement please The hard thing to come to terms with is that the room is the most important part of the system. For a fraction of your system price Rodney, you could have a room built. Well, regardless of what he is doing to fix the problem, one speaker is putting out more energy than the other and shifting the image off center. Go into the receiver setup and reduce the decibel output to the dominant side. On my Pioneer Elite receiver you can reduce or increase each speaker by half decibel increments. If the receiver he has can do so as well, adjust until balanced. It could be only a 1dB difference for whatever reason. worth a try.
  6. It is always great to see the Epic's in house. look at the size of those horns. They put out such a big cohesive sound.
  7. What equipment are you using to drive your speakers? There is a pretty easy fix for a better center image.
  8. Since no one has responded, I say keep what you have. Or get another CF3 to use as a rocking center channel. At some point, that is what I am going to do in between my CF3's.
  9. I wonder if the dents can be lifted on those particular drivers. There are several techniques for that, one being putting a little piece of sticky tape in the dent and slowly pulling it out.
  10. Here is a great demo on what adding room treatments can do. keep the volume low at its start. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cp56A6TcL1E

    Cornscala in PA.

I was cruising USaudiomart and landed on a Cornscala for sale. Looks nice. http://www.usaudiomart.com/details/649269148-bob-crites-style-c-cornscala-klipsch-cornwall-lascala-combo-biwire-speaker-cable-extras/
  12. Interesting theory. If he does get cured from that nicely done head plant on the counter, he has yet again Jimmy to thank for taking care of him while he was down and curing him of his delusional ways.
  13. There is a set up on Audiogon that I have always remembered and just found it. It has one of the beefiest displays of beautiful wood goodness I have seen. https://systems.audiogon.com/systems/5007
  14. Well, I have just checked my C-7 and it too goes straight into the cabinet. Didn't expect that. The C-7 is and has been a great center channel for the last 14 years or more that I have had it. No complaints as it is.
  15. They do. The screws are like 2 inches long so you can adjust it to the angle you want That is surprising. So, if you took a long narrow screwdriver for instance and pushed it into the hole it would pass straight through the wood and into the cabinet?
  16. That shelf truly looks great. Beefy and substantial and great gear besides. Unfortunately, your pics when clicked on to get a better look, do not enlarge much.
  17. I very much doubt that the screw holes go all the way through the wood.
  18. Myself, I will be happy when and if Chuck leaves the scene. His mental case problems, his darkly lit home, his crackly blanket and underhanded ways towards Jimmy, try my patience. Time to put his character to pasture.
  19. The best thing to do as shown, is to hang them from ones mantlepiece. Just make sure they drape symmetrically.

    Klf -30s

Someone got gold, unless they got rolled.
  21. A pair of Epics just popped up on Ebay. In New Mexico. Price is decent too. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Klipsch-Epic-Series-With-Controlled-Focus-Technology-Cf3-Cherry-Speakers-/182084319669?hash=item2a651239b5:g:fmUAAOSwjMJXBm7f
  22. My hand me down speakers during my teenage years where Altecs that looked just like those with the lattice grills, though If memory serves they had a coaxial 15" driver inside.
  23. I dig your taste in gear, everything seems well thought out, from your tube amp, the VPI, Marantz, the Cornscalas and the Spatial M3's with the Red Dragon amps, which i have also heard. I listened to them at the Show Newport this past year and I really liked them. I almost considered getting a pair as well as I loved their unique modern look. As already said, one of the open baffle design qualities is to not interact with the room in the same way that a box speaker will do. Have you had any other speakers in your room and did you get better bass with them? Is the Cornscala sealed or ported?
