I understand that the CBS special last night was "excerpted" from the DVD. I'd like to rent it from Netflix before buying it, but they don't list it as available. Looks like there are 28 tracks on the DVD, lots of the old standbys with a few newer ones mixed in. Guess I'll have to pony up the $12 and check it out for myself.

Has anyone seen/heard the just released Neil Diamond DVD? 5.1? Sound quality? The 35 year old CD sure sounded good. Money is tight; I'd hate to waste my $12.

Amen to that. I love my Jubes too, but you gotta admit that those $40 K Palladiums sound awfully good. [Y] Bob -

Happy 90th Birthday! [<)] The bar is now open. -
Unlike MJ, I'm truly sad to see Billy gone. I enjoyed watching Pitchmen on Discovery every week. His commercials may have been annoying, but the guy sure had a likeable personality and a great sense of humor. RIP, Billy.

Trey, Sending my best wishes your way. Sometimes all you can do is to put your troubles in the hands of the Man Upstairs and trust in Him. Good luck!

Glen, On behalf of all who were unable to attend, thanks for taking the time to share some of your experiences.[Y] -
Hey Guys, Please remember to post plenty of pictures for those of us who are not able to attend this year. For those going to Roger's house on Friday night, make sure to bring your GPS. I'm pretty sure whoever came up with the expression "the middle of nowhere" was talking about Roger's place. Glen, I hope you'll be able to watch Game 7 on the Big Screen. Everyone: Have a great time and drink one for me!!!

Are you sure about that JB? Sounds a little fishy to me. []

I don't think you can put a transformer in the DirecTV line(s) going to the dish. I believe there is a DC voltage present on the line, generated by the box and used to tune the downconverter on the dish. A transformer will not pass DC.

Got mine this morning. Looks good, smells even better! []

Not sure how much the Palladiums weigh, but I wonder how they'd do moving a pair of Jubes? I managed to take a good amount of paint off the back bumper of my Envoy unloading mine. Fortunately, the Jubes came out without a mark on them. []

That's me in the striped shirt (along with my son Joe and some other guy (was it Strawberry Boy?... something like that) just after I WON the prototype Jubes (I still can hardly believe it). [] Thanks again Klipsch!!

Hey Glen, Glad to hear that Ms. Rose is doing well! Give her my best wishes. Any 89 year old that asks "Is the bar open ?" is A-OK in my book. My kinda people! Keep us posted.

Just out of idle curiosity, how much does a "friendly hand" cost in TN? (Thought I'd beat JacksonBart to the question). []

I was looking for an "upgrade" to my eight year old 3 Mp Olympus. I was quite disappointed with the build quality of the "point and shoot" cameras, even the Nikon D40x, etc. I ended up buying a Fujifilm S100FS. This camera is a great "crossover" between point and shoot and DSLR. This is full -sized camera with a rather hefty weight of 32 ounces. Build quality is similar to DSLR's. While the lens is not interchangeable, the camera has a 14.3 x optical zoom with dual image stabilization. If the size and weight don't scare you off, I'd highly recommend looking into this one. (Ballpark price is $500.)
