  16. Sweet, when the investment pays off. Are these Bugle Boys & Mullards vintage from the 1950 and 60's, or ,are they from the new production lines? As others said some of our investments dont pay off, like my last few amp purchases I lost some money but hey I just write it off as part of "The cost of education" .
  17. Very interesting, now we have two of the 6 produced owned by forum members. Looking forward to your reviews gentleman.
  18. Agreed Russ,25 watts can be plenty. The el34 tube has a great mid range, now that I am bi-amping I wish I still had my Cary el34 amp just to hear it again thru these K402's . Mescalero on Sunday , seems kosher to me, cant go wrong with that "Little Band from Texas" ...
  19. Hey Tim, interesting to see you back with another Blueberry, after selling one to me. Good pre's are not to forget,, your just like me,,, I have to miss something to realize how good it actually was. There are several pieces I have sold that I severally regret. I have your old Blueberry back at Marks for his latest upgrade mode. Good luck with tube search, I willl keep an eye out, By the way does your new one have silver face, & do you have the wood Cabinet?
