Another vacation for "W" ............. the nightmare is almost over !!!!!

Pretty quiet week, nothing new this week , so, I figured I'd watch a DVD I hadn't seen in awhile ................. STANDING IN THE SHADOWS OF MOTOWN ....... The History of The Funk Brothers, behind every hit song there is a Band laying down the musical passage of the song, and here is one of the all-time Best Bands. More hits than you can shake a stick at, an awesome gathering of some of the finest musicians ever assembled. Here's a step back to the simplier days of Record Making, not alot of engineering tricks used here, just pure musical talent backing up some of the times greatest singers. Detroit was the Hub of Soul before the fatal move move to the Left Coast, and this is a nice review of those days gone bye. Great Songs, Great Playing, this disc will make you smile, and in these crazy days, a good smile won't hurt. Pick-up this DVD, can be bought real cheap these days, well worth having, just part of Rock and Roll History to me.........................

Sometimes here on the forum too much time is spent telling people what they hear, or should hear ............. Everyone is different, and they hear different things, and if a person likes the sound of his Yamaha better than the sound of his Harmon-Kardon, who are we to say different ?

Grab that Fisher and be done with it ..... I'd take Marantz over HK, but both are good units ... Solid State or Tubes Doesn't matter, just make some music, and enjoy .............

Heresy III's are very nice speakers for sure, should do what you want ............ If you go the Cornwall route, it's hard for lesser speakers to keep up with the Cornwalls, they certainaly fill the room with sound .........

You want to wake up your Cornwalls, BEC is da' Man ............ put in a pair of his B-3 Crossovers, wow, .......... then added CT-125's, double wow .... money well spent, and Mr. Crites is easy to deal with ............ Makes Great speakers sound Greater !!!!!!!!!!
