I posted this to the Decware Forum a few weeks ago. Initial impressions with Klipsch, Oppo, and Zen 01/31/24 at 17:30:51 Just an impression from yesterdays arrival and first listen. I ordered my SE84UFO2.1 the end of Nov, 2021. My wife told me to place the order, and after my stalling several times, she said she's just going to order it anyway then. So I did. ~It arrived double boxed and packed with care. Outstanding. Kathy helped me set it all up (my left side is gimped) The amp is hooked up to an Oppo BDP-103 as the only source (for now) and 1998 (96 models. last year manu) Klipsch ChorusII speakers. I have read a hundred times how things 'burn in' and even get better sounding as amp is settling in. Well, If more of that burn in makes this little amp even better, I cannot imagine much more than it already sounds. We played several cd's last night and probably should have watched the time. Snuck up on us. Played the entire cd of Simon and Garfunkels greatest hits, then several songs from Dire straits, several songs from Supertramp sacd and a blu ray. And single songs off several more discs, including Kansas. I set the volume at about 3 o'clock and used the Oppo volume control as needed and it worked perfectly fine. Didn't really need it much anyway. By the way-PLENTY of volume out of this setup. Amazing. I am not going to try to describe the sound as it would sound much like the reviewers have already said. We both heard things we hadn't noticed before on many of the songs last night. And the songs played we knew very well over so many years. Well, we thought we did I guess. Better recordings make a huge difference as we all know, this thing makes those better ones nuts! I also wanted to thank Veronica as I did call her a couple times, she answered my questions and took care of business. I have some trouble talking sometimes and she was wonderful. Thank you Mr. Deckert and all staff as well. Pure quality in all regards. I'll check back in in a month or so.. Please excuse my typing etc, getting off the pc now. I did finally hook up one of our subs to it as well using high level speaker cables. Just added a bit more bass but did not want boomy, so kept it turned way down, cut off at about 50 hz.. Perfection. Took us two years to get this and could not be happier with it. Plenty of volume, crystal clarity, depth/clean bass with chorusII's by the way! Just beautiful to listen too! What a match! Never heard anything quite like this before in my life. Wish I'd have known this way before the reviewers got hold of one.. Take care all ~ Mike

Some have a problem writing and typing, I sure do. A stroke screwed up my left side and hand, and I forget tapping keys all the way constantly. But usually my point is made without an English lesson from an indoors type.. Just be glad I was once a rocket scientist. I was given a ration of unnecessary sht from someone a few days ago ..not here though. 👌Another day out of bed. Blessed...~Mike

The short audio clip almost sounds like a blown speaker. Does it sound fine once it connects and plays a bit? Intermittent signal like you said probably though..and welcome!

Our Decware amp is finally being shipped to us within the next couple of days. I was curious about tubes with our ChorusII's. LOVE em with our ss gear anyway as well. Tubes Should be pretty cool too

We have a Decware Zen amp just about to get shipped to us. Took over two years for the order to complete. Orders went haywire after rave reviews.. Looking forward to it with our 1996 Klipsch ChorusII's 👌

Well, we have been removed from FB for our HONEST opinions and some funny memes. Never harmed anyone and nothing ever 'out of line'. Opposing opinion that Zuckerberg doesn't approve of so he'll just show us what for. Sensor and removal. We do not miss it except those that use that market place...... Got out of High School towards the end of the 10th grade (took 12th grade level test and passed, so got an ok.), so naturally no reunion invites.😉 Wouldn't have gone anyway. We're not very 'peoply' I guess. Married at 18 to my beautiful wife who I have known since we were 11 years old. 42 years coming up on August 22. Always worked full time since leaving school, beautiful kids, grand-babies and families.. So Blessed

again...realizing what they are 'worth' is up to the buyer on these. Offers are an option with his auction. I have placed an offer on a few things over the years that worked out like a champ! No issues. The last offer was a new old stock set of medium oak, KG 2.5's in sealed box from a brand new ebay seller. I actually got to talk to this man on the phone who had purchased an old closed down stereo shop that he was changing into a sporting goods shop. This was in Iowa. Until having a chat with this man, I was in no way going to even offer. 120.00 dollars including shipping. They arrived double boxed and very quickly too. These were indeed brand new, in sealed boxes and plastic and worked beautifully. Still own them. Back into their boxes until I need them again 👌. Just cannot sell our Klipsch! A set of HeresyII's in original boxes still too. ~I would listen to them before assuming they need to be reworked.

Exactly as we did follow when we changed ALL to titanium diaphragms. Apparently I did it wrong? Oh well. They've been installed for years and never a problem...they all sound beautiful..so far.

We are blessed to have purchased so much physical released music over the years. The 'streaming' bit does not go well for many of us out in the sticks where quality/reasonable internet is not the norm. And 'quality' (compressed to death?) reliable streaming from what I understand sometimes rotates, removing albums/titles you love...while paying monthly? We're all good here with crap intenet. And with some of today's music...go for it! 😅 yeah..and get off our property! We're not very peoply! We get into a city, we cannot wait to get right back out~ 👌 Sometimes, the supposed 'majority' can sure screw things up. Build Back Better!
