Welcome to the Forum, @sn1ck3rz You may want to try and find some simple wooden footstools if you only need them up about a foot or so. Fwiw, I've done that with RF-3s as side surrounds and they worked great!

That was another thread I enjoyed reading and felt the moderators made a mistake given their own stated criteria...Dunno, but given all the extraneous topics I'm no longer allowed to discuss, I still come here for these creative topics and enjoy folks artistic pictures on another thread...On that note, I am surprised there's no longer alot of discussion on Home Theater & Multichannel Music which I still enjoy and wonder what the market is in that regard. 🤓 {Note: MMurg's front soundstage seemed INCREDIBLE and maybe Roy will design/suggest the perfect center channel to go with those beautiful Jubes!}

I couldn't find the post but remember about 20 years ago this came up and Amy (a Klipsch employee & Forum legend) found there were mistakes on a few labels. Fwiw, there was only the original RC-7 and the actual specs were the same.

Don't go--Those are beautiful speakers and it only sheds light on how the folks in Hope are actually artists in the first degree! Given you made those yourself is quite the accomplishment and I imagine Roy (and Mr Klipsch) would be impressed. 😊 Fwiw, to my understanding as long as you're not selling clones or promoting others that do, you should be good to go (or stay ;)).

Fwiw, If all you did was run 2 sets of wires and take off the jumpers then you are still using the speaker's crossover. The speaker is only using the power it needs....

Nicely done Mr Deneen! During Covid I scanned and then shared on Facebook about 1,000 travel pics I took over the years...

I dunno...It looks awfully beat up although the LF drivers don't look bad. If you are considering it make sure those drivers are secure in the cabinet and if any of the brackets they are secured to aren't broken. Of course, auditioning it would be preferable.

Multichannel DVD-A/SACD, Bluray/DVD concerts, and finally movies in those latter formats.

The "High Fidelity" stereo days of my youth got circumvented by first the Boom Box and then the Walkman. The first allowed me to party with my friends in the great outdoors, while the last allowed me to travel and experience amazing places, rockin' inside my head without bothering others...Fwiw, I ventured back into the audio world discovering Home Theater and found that modern technology lessened the gap between crap and high fidelity. That's my take.

If it were me I'd sell him the RC-64 and find an RC-7. Fwiw, Klipsch quickly discontinued the RF-63/83 and brought back the RF-7s...They had to redesign the RC-64II to pair with it because folks were needing a center channel to go under the TV, instead of on top of a RP monitor. I auditioned the RF-83/RC-64 and thought it was considerably warmer (read not as clear/crisp) and feel that's why they went back...Of course, YMMV.

Yup.To go with an awfully nice bedroom system! 😁 I remember the night my wife asked me to get ours out of the bedroom: We had finished the movie and were going to sleep. I read for a little bit and turned off the lights (she was already asleep). I noticed the AVR was still on and as I was fiddling with the buttons on the universal remote inadvertently turned back on the DVD player and it automatically went to the THX demo opening which was extremely LOUD! 😮 My wife (to say the least) was startled and it's been 15 years since we had a Bedroom Home Theater. 🤐

If you can't find the RC-7, the next one would be either the RC-64II or III version. I'm not saying you couldn't get one of the smaller ones to work, but the larger compression drivers in the RB-75s is what makes them special (read cleaner) and the ones I mentioned should fit the bill...{Note: The original RC-64 isn't on that list because it was voice-matched to the warmer RF-83.} YMMV.
