  1. Those feet are put on at the factory so they can slide around the cement floor and are not really intended to be permanent. Go to WalMart and find some similarly sized grippers (they are used for furniture) and replace the metal caps with them.
  2. Incomplete and totally thrashed. $300
  3. Thanks, I sent the link to my brother in law in Texas.
  4. It is the recording. Many these days are over saturated and will cause the issue that you are explaining. You need a compressor to tame it because they recorded it at too high a level.
  5. Don't forget the stage trapezoidal enclosure and pro models like the Heresy Industrial (HI), (HI-SM), Heresy Industrial Ported (HIP), (HIP-SM) and then the Heresy II version of the Pro's KP-250, etc. They are too many to keep up with. I love the HIP's the best while the bass extension drops in 85Hz range they have ferocious mid-bass with great impact, the mids and highs run wide open which makes them perfect for my Front Effects and Side Surround positions since they pick up every little nuance or sound making for a phenomenal theater experience. That said the newest ones are very refined and improved and the price you pay for them won't be cheap but they are designed to last a lifetime.
  6. Looks like a single, may want to clarify what they are selling.
  7. I replaced my Pro Media 2.1 satellites with far better ones and now it really sounds great. Spend the extra money and find yourself a pair of a/d/s L200's you wont be sorry. I swapped out my satellites for a pair and I won't be going back. These sound way larger than the are and add additional bass response. They are pictured below without their metal grills on.
  8. These will work equally as well in La Scala's and Belle's. Excellent sounding network that provides a constant impedance to the source rather than the fluctuations of the typical AA network.
  9. That is correct Hard Rock Maple certainly not a common finish. I had a pair of '73's in Hard Rock Maple with cane grills and the clear acrylic pie slice logos.
  10. I have a like new EVM-12L (Equivalent to the cast frame version K-42 12" woofer) that I have been holding onto for quite some time and do not think that I will ever need it. I was keeping it as a backup for my Heresy HIP's but I do not forsee ever having to replace a woofer. I bought it from an individual that had a stockpile of them but mostly the "S" version of the EVM-12. This was the only "L" and it had just come back from ElectroVoice after being reconed. I would look to get $100 plus shipping costs for it and be warned this thing is "heavy"
  11. Looks like the bottom of the bass bins got wet or was exposed to moisture for a while with that staining. No thanks
  12. Where do these delusional people come up with there pricing.
  13. He didn't they were custom ordered from the factory that way. They are not very common but make the La Scala look like a fat Cornwall.
  14. Yep, my bet is KG4's finished in Oak Oil veneer built in 1988.
  15. If I am not mistaken the transition from the AA to the AK in the Klipschorn was done to accomodate the K-55M which as you konw typically runs about 1.5db hotter than the K-55V. Let see what the experts have to say though. I have never seen the K-51V used in a Klipschorn but many in the Cornwall.
  16. Well that did not take very long. I was going to keep and eye out for you but I guess I don't have to.
  17. Passed this onto my brother in law he will most likely want to purchase it. Stay tuned I will be in touch.
  18. An individual on here used to have three RC-7's across the front and was thrilled with it.
  19. Wrong direction. Reference speakers and KG line do not mix. The timbre' will not even be close. Do it right the first time you will thank yourself later.
  20. No one needs an awesome spare or to replace a worn or damaged Heresy HIP woofer? I'd keep it if I had a matching one to replace my steel stamped frame K-42's in my second set of Heresy HIP's.
  21. The center of choice for KG4's should be a KG 2.2 or KG 2.5 the KV series was voiced to the Epic line CF-1, 2, 3 & 4. Obvisouly a third KG4 is the absolute best option, a KG3 as mentioned would also be a very good choice.
  22. Up for sale my spare EV EVM-12L which is the equivalent to the early Klipsch K-42 used in HIP's. I have been holding onto it for years as a spare for my Heresy HIP's and have never had to use it. It was reconed by Electro Voice back in 2000 and has been sitting in a box in a climate controlled area ever since. Looking to get $125 for it plus shipping costs. Keep in mind shipping won't be cheap this bad boy is HEAVY! It will be at least 22 lbs or so. I have it listed on Craigslist and Facebook marketplace so it is first come first served.
