OMG Michael, VERY sorry for your loss! I have kitties myself and I understand the feeling you have as if they are your KIDS. Some people don't have a clue about what its like. I have two siamese and they have quite the demenor from other kinds of felines. I can only imagine your hurt. Most folks on here have said what I would like to say and can only echo their support. Its takes time as time heals most things. Hang in there Michael, and enjoy the thoughts and memories of your adventurous and well known kitty.

Thanks for the reply jt, that sound like more than I'm looking for. I don't need it to hook up to a monitor even, just have a scrolling display on the box, similar to a receiver. I have a receiver, but I can't unhook it everytime I want to move around. If I could only cut the part out of the receiver that does what I want, it would work.

Can anyone tell me how or what to get to play music from a external HDD to RCA for stereo, NOT using a computer. There should be something out that does this.(thats NOT a computer) Help appreciated, thanks.

Depending on where the cable was broken, you could have some loose ends still inside one of the connectors. Check for loose ends, check the cable, even try unplugging the subwoofer for a few minutes, and restarting it. There is an issue with grounding somewhere that wasn't there before. I hope you haven't ripped them a new one, you may need them to buy you a new sub. []
