  1. Nice and organized like. That amp looks sweet indeed. Like the isolation of TT up top. Interesting. Thanks!
  2. Was looking earlier at your setup signature. Nice to know about set's. No doubt separates are the way to nice sound. Can only imagine what @Matthews LaScala beauties sound like. Dang, Khorns, I am behind the times, lol. BTW, that Mac server, I may have seen. Bet that is a nice platform. Getting another DAC soon myself. Not always time to involve in my TT setup. Too bad...
  3. Lol, those are abit off of the path for me Mike. Have seen some deals closer to me. Both of those micro... and the Thorens have looked at for a good, to decent deal and found on craigs. Should have said am going to procure a couple of carts to X-periment with the sounds. Nothing like a TT for me. The BD20D is a good review for entry- to low mid. A $200+ table. It sounds good. What may happen is, I take a roadtrip. West side of Tallahassee is residence. with Miles and Cox...for sure.:
  4. Knew about the Heresy. Bet they sound really nice. Alright, going to have to have a pic of the LaScala sometime. Cool man! You beat me to it, lol... nice!
  5. Have been going to ask you about LaScala? What speakers are you listening to?
  6. Now that looks like a workhorse for you. There is nothing quite like the convenience of an easy dependable crank. Honda mowers are hard to beat. Have fun...
  7. Remember when you got those LaScala's. Those do look nice! Have been wondering about the sensitivity and TT. Then remembering you ,Full Range and others spinning with LaScala. Guess I missed your going tubular. Encouraging... Cheers!
  8. Diggin on those TT shots. Saw a Fisher, Dual, and a nice Thorens lately and reading reviews. Getting a new P-34 cart/stylus(elliptical) as soon as I make my mind up about which one. Grado, Ortofon. and a Shure in the running. At 1.5g weight, I am a low mass tonearm. Almost picked up my Technics and a few records from storage this weekend. Getting ready to hear some vinyl with the Scalas. Enjoy!
  9. Happy to finally be a simple member also to a most worthy cause. That cup looks nice. Donating some to the Pilgrimage also via PayPal next week. Thanks to Christy for the info I needed.

    Wonderful...
  11. Yes, others are good but, could only be one Art Bell. Listened to CtoC for over 5 years on Saturday nights until a couple of years ago on car/work radio. RIP Art...
  12. Thanks for all the info and conversation. Alright now, there are a lot of road trips posted all over the forum. *rockhound has gotten us a good thread started. Have other road trips I have posted in the past. Not a good storyteller as you all have going. Have to honestly say I much prefer reading about your ROAD TRIPS.....thanks!
  13. Sounds like a story for the road trip thread. Congrats!

Hope so as well. Read the links posted and got some good info. Please let us know the fix. Thanks!
  15. Diggin' on your speaker set from your labor. Badge looking decent.
  16. Yes the humidity and the bugs are bad around here most of the time. If you carry some TOP in your wallet, you will have a paper accordion to play with. Some cool dudes round about here. Good fortune!
  17. Like my OCB's for rolling my own. Turned into OCD quickly after. Sounds like your speakers are going to close in on you...
  18. Here is a pic of the LaScala pair not long after shoehorned temporary setup. They cleaned up nice except for DIY badge misplacement from previous owner and someone left a minor burn mark from a cig or something and a couple of watermarks on top of one. Not perfect but, I can live with the bargain. 2 college guys loaded them for me and some electronics into a 2000 Volvo wagon. It was plug and play.:
  19. Think I read in link it turns red when near clipping point. Maybe a separate led. The beauty may be the weight and the price tag. !00 watts not slouchy, in my limited opine.
  20. Welcome to the Klipsch forum! We look forward to seeing pics of the speakers. Thanks, Billy
  21. Beauty of a Beast looking: https://www.mcintoshlabs.com/products/integrated-amplifiers/MA252
  22. Wow, Remember your trip and the room service at a lovely spot you two were at. Been as far as Marathon as recall but yes, it is a job to just begin to do the speed limit. Wrote about the Tampa to Fort Myers interstate race. Traffic sucks you into drafting. Coffee can help, but not too much anymore. Have had to have a couple of cups late at night for Klipsch road trips. Maybe they are heading south to pick up Klipsch.
  23. Have made some roadtrips. Some much longer than my last one for Klipsch speakers. Approximately 40 miles rounder. LaScala's were a deal off of craig's local list. Posted here in alerts but as the day wore on, I was the one who got them. Still look at the local Florida craigslist. You never know...
  24. Looking good Joe! GLWS... Agree rplace...
  25. Thursday could be the day for someone...nice find.
