  1. I wasn't sure.. 20 or 30s good deal for 300. It was early when I looked.
  2. I have no affiliation with the seller. I would buy these for my father in law if I were closer. http://stjoseph.craigslist.org/ele/5032749905.html
  3. I'm in the same boat as Youthman. If you can fish them through the wall, if not wire them up the wall or down, which ever suits your installation best and simply wire them directly to the speaker.
  4. You could fry an egg on it. RO4K, How do you like your Aragon Stage One? I have considered getting one myself many times. Bill Sorry for the delay. I have notifications turned off.I love my stage one , it sounds excellent in stereo direct. They can be had for a good price. I don't see myself replacing it until I have to. A pre/pro with hdmi would be nice for convience but I'm unsure if I would gain much improvement in sound. The 8channel inputs allows for the lossless multi channel play back and sounds excellent as well.
  5. If I recall correctly the 805 has the ability to change the ohm settings as it will go into safety mode as it approaches a specific heat depending on the chosen resistance setting. The 805 runs very hot at the 6ohm setting and will get even hotter on the 4 ohm setting with those difficult loads. It served me well for home theatre use but IMO lacked severely in the 2ch department. Choose the 6 ohm setting as others have suggested.
  6. what are you replacing them with Gorm? Jason is great to work with and takes great care of his stuff. I had a chance to listen to his "Gorm"Scalas powered by the 500c, it sounded superb. Good Luck with your sale.
  7. As they stand right now there is also a pair of klf 30s next to the Khorns. I'll get some photos up later.
  8. I think I saw those Khorns on Ebay. Is that where you got them? No I did not get these from ebay and to the best of my knowledge they where never listed there either.
  9. I was recently alerted to a pair of black KLF 30s in great shape by Opusk2k9, thanks again Brandon. It looks like maybe they have been upgraded to the Titanium highs and mids but I don't know how to tell if they have or not. When looking down the horns throat they are both shiny silver. Can anyone advise on a way to tell what's there? They sound quite good, condition is 8.5/10. backpanels are loose , that will be addressed in the near future.
  10. Is anyone interested in splitting the vrds and the nbs? I'd like to get my hands on the VRD'S. I'd like the nbs too but I can't swing both right now. If this interests you and is ok with the OP, send me a PM.
  11. I think that might be Justin's amp (jweber) of ampsandsound. He listed in the forums a month or so ago.
  12. Looks to be a kg 3.5
  13. I think this member already has a pair of Belle. I was/am definitely bummed out I was late to the table.
  14. I replied as well. A forum member did get them. He got a smoking deal on them, I'm surprised he's not sharing in the excitement!!
  15. Keep in mind that that is doesn't have to be a company sponsored chat, that's why I had suggested IRC. They could participate if they so desired.
  16. I agree it would be great to have it here. I figured it wasn't already here do to resources.
  17. As the title states, how many members would be interested in an IRC channel? The forums are nice for photos and archives but real time interaction has been more intriguing to me. Current channel : irc.freenode.net ##Klipsch
  18. it looks like the crossover on the sub is cut at like 45HZ which is pretty low if you want "more" bass, turn it to th 12 oclock position or great if you desire. The other thing to check is where the crossover setting in the receiver is set. Last but not least would be to check the "size" setting in the receiver as well, you can choose either small, or large some offer a "summed" type setting. I'm not familiar with your sub so I will give you the standard setting many will suggest to start with and you can play from there. Set the crossover on the sub to "Max" (looks like 150Hz), In the receivers settings Locate the item for setting the size of the speakers to and set them to "Small" and next choose the crossover setting in the receiver to 80Hz.
  19. As USNRET said, have you tried the order in which you power the devices on? I had similiar issues with an onkyo tx sr805 ~5 years ago. The "fix" was the order the devices were powered on.
  20. I'm a big Taylor fan myself, I think it's hard to go wrong with anything they put out. I've never been a Martin fan. Gibson....Hit or miss. Here is D.R. Auten with his Taylor
  21. Nic, I could transport it. On one of my trips back home. Or we could meet up in Missouri valley when we pull a train in to town. Let me know if I can be an assistance.
  22. What's you zip code, I'm very interested, I've been saving for some VRDS but this may cut the Bill for a while.
