  1. Hey dtel, I cant really help you as I am not really a gamer.. but I am unsure if you can play ps2 games on ps3 console, hopefully someone else can confirm either way, as for the memory capacity, if you require more memory you can connect external hard drive via usb, and as for the differences in models and what they offer, if you connect ps3 via internet you can do a system update to update to current version. Many of us here on the forums have ps3 and hopefully they would be more of a help than I am..
  2. Youthman has actually got his HT build thread in this great place where he shared his experience with us all, right from the planning stage to finish product and it is a great read and very inspiring, he has done an amazing job with it. As for his Cherry finish speakers, of course I can not answer that, but personally I prefer the cherry finish over black for my mains but this is just my personal preference, but in saying that I have my centre as Black and that looks awesome as well. Although I have never heard the RC64 and RF83's I have read so many great things about them.

  8. FINALLY!!!! I watched Avatar.. was it at IMAX.. No was it in 3D.. No.. Was it on Blu Ray..No .. But did watch it last night as someone lent me the dvd to watch. i thought it was a good movie for sure and can only imagine the visual wow factor at IMAX or on BluRay or 3D.. i know it has taken me a while to see this.. but better late than never i suppose..
  9. i sure do, back of sub crossover is set to the highest [Y] thanks for answering the question. i find all this Bass stuff very intersting and love looking at the pretty graphs..
  10. so when on pre/avr we select Bass output as ‘sub only’ is what we are saying that we are sending 2 separate signals to Sub being LFE and Bass, which Bass would have normally been sent to speakers but have opted for Sub only? my crossover on sub is 120hz, crossover on pre/avr is 60-80hz, speakers set to small.. and is also what we are saying that by doing this we are lowing the levels of LFE and Bass?
  11. would turning the 7 on its side help, if this is done you may or may not want to rotate the tweater by 90 degrees, i have read that somewhere..
  12. wow.. I mean WOW.. like WOW WOW.. there is a thread ‘score of the century’ somewhere in this place.. with this fantastic score you may be a contender for being on top of the list.. and of course congratulations!!!!!..

  14. Hey youthman, personally I have never seen a 12v trigger on power amp look like that. Though I am not familiar with many different makes, though all the ones I have seen on both pre and power amp the connections look like a headphone jack. As for splicing I am unsure, I wish I could help more,, good luck with it.
  15. the RC7 was recommended by Klipsch and I am sure the RC64 would work well also
