For sale PrimaLuna EVO 200 Preamplifier. I purchased this unit to try with my Prologue Premium amplifier. I was very impressed so out of curiosity I purchased the EVO 400 amplifier and am now going to try the matching preamplifier as well. I want to try the matching EVO400 preamplifier with the balanced IC's but I could happily live with this EVO200. This unit has maybe 200 hours on it and is just over 2 months old. It is in excellent condition. Purchased new from Upscale audio. It will ship in the original triple box. The price is $2,495.00 OBO plus shipping Take PayPal but prefer Zelle for payment.

I have had both and I think the 300 is worth the extra cost but the 200 is a very nice unit as well. The 300 is a little more transparent and has a more authoritative lower end. The Triode/Ultra Linear switch is a nice option as well but if your system is dialed in I have found that I do not really use it that often in my system because of how nice and open and extended the Ultra Linear is compared to the Triode. YMMV I am now using the EVO-200 preamplifier and the EVO-400 amplifier with good results and may move up to the EVO-300 preamplifier in the future if I get the itch but it sounds quite excellent as is for now.

I recapped my Chorus crossovers about 6 weeks ago and I am extremely happy with the results using the JEM's. I am one to usually spend what it takes to get the best quality "upgraded" parts but after speaking with Dean, who has built me some amazing exotic crossovers in the past, I took his advice and replaced the caps with the JEM's. The speakers have a wonderful clear, full and balanced sound. No complaints at all.

Best self adhering sound deadening material

I welcome all of the discussions and recommendations for everything that could benefit from some dampening materials as well but I do have the original issue addressed. -

It would be pretty boring if we all had the same equipment, tastes and opinions. I really enjoy reading how excited people are when they put together any level of equipment that brings them joy, I can relate to this. -

Audio is music is art which is subjective. I am happy for anyone who finds pleasure no matter what they are listening through and never understand criticising choices or products. My first set up was an emerson I think all in one turntable tuner and 8 track player with speakers from Ames dept store that was a christmas gift when I was probably 12 years old in the early 70's and was absolutely thrilled and thus began my love of all things audio. -
I was I hate to admit but the thought crossed my mind also.

Me as well.

You will need a phono pre-amp as billybob stated suited to the type of phono cartridge you are using unless your turntable has one built in, it is not something that is typically part of a turntable, and it looks like you have an audio left and right input labeled audio 3 on the rear panel of your Yamaha. The speakers are connected to the speaker outputs labeled front L and R for stereo.

I agree. I had the 60 as a demo until my monos came in and I honestly could have stopped there. I sold the Pass and went to the Coda amp and pre before I landed back here. I blame a lot of my wondering on Terry but I am done and happy. http://v2.stereotimes.com/post/coda-technologies-16.0-amplifier-by-terry-london -

That actually is the one rabbit hole I enjoy. It satisfies my tinkering itch and desire to try something different once in a while without major changes and expenses.
