  1. I absolutely love mine you will not be disappointed if you buy them. If you can get them for 400.00 you will have no problem unloading them down the road but I doubt you will ever let go of them, I know I won't.
  2. If you were closer these would be gone! GLWS!

    'jailbroken' T.V. ?

I think I'm going to do one from scratch the Asus Chromebox seems pretty well priced and the instructions for installing openelec and kodi add ons seems pretty simple. The only concern I have is my internet connection is DSL and not the fastest. I have a couple atv's and Roku players and they stream ok, if this chromebox works as advertised I will be very happy! This is a good read. http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=94268
  4. Like others have said if it sounds good to you then enjoy it!
  5. Geez nothing that is a good deal is ever close i would be all over these if they were.
  6. Also forgot to mention that I get discounts on the following through my employer. The discounts usually result in dealer invoice pricing saved a significant amount when we bought my wifes Grand Cherokee and no hassle just hand them the paper work and the come out with the invoice sheet. I just looked at an example of the mazda 6 and I can gret a new mazda 6 sport for 21k the reviews seem to be good on this car. I just need to get out and drive a few. The plan is for Mazda Ford Volkswagon Gm Chrysler Audi My inner irresponsible self want to buy a Dodge Challenger lol!
  7. Carl I can bring my Chorus 2's if anyone is interested or the H2's.
  8. Well really what it is Michael is theses wonderful speakers ( at least one set I know of) are trying to return home to their birthplace or within a stones throw away as we say in these parts!
  9. I have a 13 year old son. We leave him alone for up to 3hrs during the day and absolutely not at night (I live in a very rural area). We have set ground rules with him and so far he has not gotten off the tracks. Now mind you I took him to the other side of the tracks to see what desperate people are capable of as I had no clue at his age, he was completely understanding after that trip. He understands what to do in emergencies and he has memorized tactics that should be used in given scenarios. This is important in my opinion teach them what to do if plan A escalates to plan B and then to plan C and so forth. My absolute worse fear is to come home to a missing child and I have done everything in my power to educate him on this not happening but still giving him independence to grow into a young man and eventually the man I expect him to be.
  10. Funny you mention the accord it is on the short list. My wife owned an accord and a civic ai owned a CRX in college days never any problems not one. I work with a engineer who worked for Honda he told me a good story about them but the long and short of it is there is a reason the are called Honda motor company, the tolerances they base their qc by is insane. I drove a 08 the other day and it had that familiar Honda feel but it was not comfy and the driver seat did not go back enough for me. I'll check on the newer ones and see if they are more comfy and a little more leg room is PROVIDED. THANKS to everyone for the advice keep it coming.
  11. Malibu is nice and big. I have been looking at the TDI VW's but not sure how they are on maintenance?
  12. Carl I drove a Cruze as a rental once and it seemed a little cramped, I'm 6'3". I liked it other than that. JL- I considered that but I already have a jeep, truck and the wife grand cherokee my son isn't to the age of driving yet or I would. I can't justify having 4 vehicles when only two of us drive.
  13. I've read it does not effect the passive radiator sound.
  14. Guys need a little advice. I work on a offshore oil platform my commute to work is 480 miles one way, I work a 14/14 schedule. I drive roughly 25-30k miles a year (work/personal). I currently have a 07 Toyota Tundra as my primary vehicle and the thing is just killing me in gas not to mention the mileage is starting to creep up currently at (114,000). I bought the truck originally because well I thought I needed a truck to haul the tractor and wot not around the house. Honestly tho I use the truck for actual truck duty maybe 2-3 times a year. I also have a Jeep Wrangler that could do the duties of a truck when I use my trailer, the only thing I can not do is haul my tractor to the deer lease (Once a year) but my dad's truck could full fill that need. I've been thinking about selling the tundra and getting a commuter car for my travels to work. My wife owns a newer cherokee, I drove it to work last hitch and it was nice not having to stop to gas up as her GC gets good gas mileage (I averaged 24mpg) and a big tank to boot. So this got me to thinking maybe I should sell the truck and get something more economical with low miles, knowing that in the next couple years I will need to replace it anyway due to the high mileage I drive and the ever decreasing reliability of a vehicle as it ages. My employer gives me a set amount each month to cover the cost of travel which easily pays my note and insurance, I currently owe 4k on the tundra. If I do buy something it will be a 500 mth note and a finance term of 36mths which is around 17k , there are numerous mid sized sedans that fit that price that easily get 30+ mpg. So what would you do, sell it or continue to drive it?
  15. For those with inquisitive infants or curious cats, a waffle grille with clamps can be easily installed with just a drilll. No need to drill all the way through the cabinet, wood screws that grab the rear panel but don't extend through will hold the clamp/grille in place. OP glad you have a solution, I have Chorus II's and this thread has pushed me to buy some grills for my rear passives, something I've wanted to do but just haven't.
  16. Wow that is wicked sounding.
  20. I say give it a shot it can't hurt right.
  21. Mooray should be chiming in he has a lot of good ideas for the KLf's. I had a set of 20's and read how great they were at bass, I love bass! They never went as low as I wanted and like you I was surprised they didn't, I think it was my listening room just to small to let them loose. I've finally come to the conclusion that the bass I crave can only be satisfied by an external sub. I've never owned a pair of 30's sure would like to.
  22. Depends on location. Around here they go for 250-350.
