I think if you are not going to use a sub then the KHOs would be a better choice, but if you are going to use a sub then I would go with the AW 650's. It is just about perfect for the high/mid but the woofer is blocked by most of the foundation. they sound good to me, but these are not used for critical listening, more lounging in the pool and drinking brews. They were lost in a gigantic list of kitchen equipment and fixtures that I don't think anyone ever fully parsed.

There may also be slight differences in inter-electrode capacitance, I would not mix and match them, but as a matched set they should be interchangable. In the shop we used to select tubes based on microphonics (gently tapping the tube with the eraser end of a pencil to determine if it could be heard in the speaker) more than anything else.

If it sounds normal then it isn't your RC-7, it may be your A/V receiver. I believe they're the same part # (K-1083-SB). What is your receiver crossover set at for the center channel? I would try running as small.

I would say you were luckier than some.Also, I think a lot depends on the condition before they were painted. you cannot tell the difference between rolling and spraying. That method, however, takes practice......

I moved everything out and re-routed my wiring and cables. I also cleaned up all my inputs and cable termination with a little DeOxit wiping. I have been very satisfied with the unit and sound quality but can't really recommend it to everyone the way I'd like because in some instances they may have issues.

The movie looks and sounds great. Story was easy to follow and I felt the effects were just great.the movie was as much fantasy as sci-fi, and I mean that in a good way.

tom cruise was in town.not a big fan but i think he is a good actor, loved him as a protecting farther in war of the worlds.

It's definitely a must-see on the big screen, and with big sound.I can say I was interested throughout the movie.I'd watch it for sure...
