  1. Excellent troubleshooting and solution. Hats off to you. Dimmers are not rheostats as you have discovered. They are phase control fired triacs. And they don't play well with LED type bulbs usually.
  2. I is talking 'bout REW, you know Room EQ Wizard.
  3. We're trying to grow chile aji amarillo. The bush full we harvested a few years back has finally been exhausted. Peruvian cuisine is just not the same without it. Edit: there fixed it. aji = chile in Peru
  4. Uh huh.... getting my better half to make a decision about anything when we built was like pulling teeth. Good thing she doesn't follow this forum And we bought our land in 2003 and did not start building until 2009. They say if your marriage can survive a house build it can withstand anything.
  5. @Chris A et al Any reason NOT to download the version that allows multiple iterations to be run at the same time? They offer it both ways single and multiple
  6. Yep. My advice, don't forget your earplugs to any live venue you are going to attend. You can always not use them if by magic the sound is actually good.

  9. If you are familiar with the Altec 9844 or Klipsch Jubilee, you know the benefit of dual 12" drivers in a curved front baffle Uh....not exactly at least as far as Jube is concerned. These low freq cabinets are like @jwc 's mini punch(I think that's what he called it) that GotHover WAS going to make kits for.

  13. @ChatsworthMike you might want to start a new thread about this. But are the crossovers from 1977? If so I would think that there is a possibility they are causing your problem.
  14. Who's the DD? Or are you getting a Limo? 14 months, jeez. 2 months after warranty expired?
  15. Amen and..... Amen. He did spectacular. Please make sure he knows it.
  16. P-A-R-T-Y at Carl's. With this many guests 1 more martini should be no problem. Was that 14 month old pump? Hope you meant years.
  17. Here. Just been really busy, at work and homestead. Anyone else noticed this new emoticon: 🖕 We don't need an "FU" button anymore
  18. @joessportster on a very quick google search found this:http://www.szynalski.com/tone-generator/ Will this do the trick?

  20. Al was a kid when he started with Chick, Lenny and Stanley.
  21. Higher voltage caps are fine. Lower voltage no. The outside of those can type caps are covered with an insulator so them touching should be no problem. Curious are the ones you're replacing 85 or 105 degrees C rated? If they're 105 make sure your replacements are also.
  22. Have you found a schematic on line for this model?
  23. Uh..... maybe electrolyte leaked out of one of the big caps?
