  1. better put this on your message @dtel I would really like one also, pretty please.
  2. ^ I guess code writin' pays well. God Bless you.
  3. Exactly, that's why EVERYBODY has to tell them to shove it.
  4. They all suck. And yes the price goes up every year. I call them up whenever i fell i need to be abused and ask "why did the price go up your service still sucks". They will never get it until we all cancel our service. End rant
  5. That's an assembly aid or assembly drawing for a fact. The schematic will have the coveted squiggly lines and arrows you so desire.
  6. @twk123 I would have trouble with the fan, but hey it's just me. Anything that makes noise other than my speakers goes in the utility room.
  7. Not necessarily necessarily
  8. For maximum yes of course a bigger supply will be necessary. That's why the smartazz that I am I asked what do you mean by work. @twk123apologies if I offended you
  9. What do you mean by work? It should up to some limit, say around 50 -75 watts out per channel. This is a SWAG. I have the TI dev board but have not had any time to mess with it. @DizRotus has been using one I believe and with a Meanwell supply I think but I don't know which one.
  10. So they shipped you the wrong ones to match and they still have the correct ones available? I'm🌽fused.
  11. Great job, looks really good. And I'm thinking if that's a real fireplace probably safer.
  12. So far a couple of vague comments that's all. I know what a balanced input is, I know what a differential signal is and I know what a bridged output is. So I think I am going to have to figure it out for myself and determine whether it is worth purchasing.
  13. My understanding of the Marantz 8802 balanced outputs is both pins 2 and 3 have signals on them inverted in phase by 180 degrees. I personally would not take either of those signals to ground on my single ended unbalanced input subwoofer with any cable or simple adapter. If you want to keep the benefits of a balanced output all the way to your sub get a high quality balanced to unbalanced transformer based converter device like an ISO MAX box from Jensen Transformer. This will also have the added benefit of breaking any potential ground loop or Common Impedance Coupling.
  14. I really think I want to build a couple of these in the balanced input/ bridged output to run the top end of my Jubes. The Crown d75s I refurb'd are OK but I'd like to dip into the Class A camp. I have a concern though and have asked a question on the diyaudio thread. So far no definitive answer, but its only been a day. The pre order window closes in a few days. My question: I am thinking about getting a pair of these during the pre order period for balanced/bridged configuration. My question is on some balanced outputs(the input to these amps) the low side of signal is ground and not an invert of the high side signal. So will these amps work like that?
  15. Who ate peyote first and said "Yum"
  16. Feed Squirrels? Ain't them varmits? Only thing I want to feed them is lead or styrchnine.
  17. It's all good I'm just yanking your chain I just got my jubes a couple weeks back (but no 1802) You will love them.
  18. What! No "beauty panel" on the sub? What!😁
  19. More important, where do you live? I want to hear this😎
  20. "I think there something wrong with that R2 unit"
  21. Spoke with my cousin and her hubby yesterday. They are close to this but uphill from the possible flows if I understood them correctly. Unless of course the eruption gets much worse.
  22. I sawd it on da internet it must be truuu What happens when you drink coffee is you stay awake and alert. My employer loves this.
